{The Best Winter Boots you Should Invest in}

This post is sponsored by Zappos. All opinions are my own.

What do you look for when you’re shopping for a new pair of boots? Are you looking for investment pieces? A particular designer? Is quality a main focus? Is it price? How versatile they are? Or all of the above? When I am shopping for the best winter boots I want something that is high quality, comfortable and that will last me years without going out of style. Frye is that designer for me and has been for years.

Working in the fashion industry as a stylist for the past 10 years has really taught me lessons in what quality actually is. As time has gone one I have really developed the quality over quantity mindset. I’ve realized that I want to invest in shoes and accessories that are going to last me for years if not a decade. I can tell you right now that I have had some of my Frye boots for over 10 years. They still look amazing and I am still wearing them constantly.

This particular style of Frye boot has to be one of my favorites and the best winter boots. Is there anything better than a beautiful pair of leather boots? Most of my other Frye boots are the basic flat leather boot so it was nice to find a pair that was a little different from the norm but not too trendy. That is what I love about Frye. Sure, they make some trendy boots but the majority are timeless pieces that will never go out of style. I like to think I am curating a collection that is going to last me a lifetime.

The Best Winter Boots from Zappos:

The wedge on this boot is only 3″ and is so comfortable. It’s not an overpowering wedge either but sleek and very minimal. The Emma style does run true to size but I would definitely size up a half size if you plan on wearing thicker socks.  This style does not come in wide calf but there is plenty of room in the shaft and around the top if that is a concern. I believe the circumference of this boot is 14 1⁄2″. If you’re like me and don’t like a lot of room between your leg and the boot throw on a pair of boot socks or leg warmers and that will fill the gap.

These do come in three different colors as well; brown, black and grey. All of these colors are extremely versatile and will go with any type of outfit for any occasion. I can’t tell you how much I’ve incorporated Frye into my every day life from working on set, going to lunch or dinner or even just hanging around the house. There is literally a boot for every single type of adventure you may find yourself in!

The only place I will shop for my Frye boots or really anything else for that matter is Zappos. If I know Zappos has a brand or product I am looking for, you better believe I am ordering from them. Not only do they offer free shipping but it’s free next day shipping! Plus, they offer a 365-day return policy and their customer service is out of this world.  I don’t know about y’all but the ease of shopping and free shipping and returns really makes all the difference. Is there anything better than instant gratification? I think not.

I want to end this post by congratulating Frye on their 155th anniversary and their current campaign;“The Original. The Authentic. The Only.” 155 years is a milestone and if that doesn’t convince you Frye is the best of the best, then I don’t know what else will.
