I don’t know about y’all but finding the perfect pair of white denim has been a multiple years long struggle. I’m not even joking. I have NEVER owned a pair of white denim jeans in my entire life. Why? Because I have never been able to find a pair that didn’t either make me look like a fat cow (I know, how stupid of me), weren’t completely see through (you know the ones that literally show your cellulite through the pants) or a pair that didn’t have a ton of whiskering through the front making them look like they are way too small to be wearing. Anyone else have any pet peeves about white denim? Oh, the fact that if I wear anything white for longer than 5 minutes it’s going in the trash because I completely ruin it with anything and everything I come into contact with!
After 31.99 years (my birthday is Tuesday!), I am beyond happy to announce I am no longer a white denim virgin!! My goal every Spring is to find the perfect pair of white denim that would fit me absolutely perfectly. That’s a tough cookie these days. I was mindlessly perusing the Nordstrom website a couple weeks ago for a collaboration and figured I’d take a gander at some reasonably priced white denim. I’ve found the super inexpensive jeans don’t fit well AT ALL and the overly expensive pairs just aren’t attainable for me. Funny enough, I looked at ONE pair of white denim from Madewell. (Keep in mind, Madewell has NEVER fit me so I was a tad skeptical) I chose my size and put the white jeans in my cart.
Great, another pair of white jeans that I am going to buy from a brand that’s never worked for me and immediately return. But what the hell, might as well give it a shot! I went and picked up my online order the next day. White jeans were first on the agenda to try on. As I was waiting to bust out laughing at how awful they fit I was struck with a feeling I’ve never felt before while trying on jeans; white jeans at that.
THESE WHITE DENIM JEANS WERE PERFECT.
The fit was amazing. The white was not too see through. My cellulite did not show through. Best of all, there were no weird lines going across the front! (I have larger thighs so this is always a problem) These $128 jeans were the best money I have spent on a pair of denim in years. I take that back; my life!
I’ve created an easy to shop collage below. If you want to shop a specific item just click on the photo and it will take you directly to the webpage!
Now, I don’t know if y’all have the same issues with white jeans but I highly recommend these! No, I’m not getting paid by Madewell to say that as I’m sure some of y’all are wondering. I really just wanted to share this milestone of a life changing event with y’all!
