A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. Isn’t that the truth? Since the very first day my Brussels Griffon, Steven Jalapeño came into my life I knew things would never be the same. The love I felt for this tiny puppy was something I had never felt before. At that very moment, I knew that I would do anything for that little guy. And boy have I ever. He is the most spoiled dog in the world.

It has definitely been an eventful yet very trying 9 years. From 3 near death experiences to Steven becoming instantly paralyzed and miraculously being able to walk again, he is still ALWAYS so happy. No matter what hurdles come his way he is always beyond excited to be alive. Even more excited now that he can walk again.

Dogs teach us how to be strong and happy no matter what is going on in our lives. Their love is always unconditional. “Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them, and filling an emptiness we didn’t ever know we had.” – Thom Jones That is why I’ve dedicated this entire post to that special furry friend in your lives! I know I wouldn’t be who I am today without Steven’s love and I don’t know what I will do without him one day. Until then, he is going to be the most spoiled dog in the world!

No one ever carries Brussels Griffon goodies and this store had EVERYTHING Brussels. Actually, they had everything for every dog breed. You better believe I bought every single Brussels Griffon thing in that store! I think I even have 4 pairs of custom dog socks with Steven’s face all over them.

One of my most memorable gifts from Grayson is a little Steven pillow he had made for me. It’s a customizable pillow that has your dogs name, paw prints and 3 facts about your dog.
