As I’m sitting down to write this post, I’m attempting to watch Sex & the City 2 and plan out my Friday lunch date but just remembered the temps are going to be in the 40s tomorrow and mega windy… WHY?! Why can’t we get cozy Fall weather without the hurricane winds?! I am thankful for the cooler weather and that I actually get to bundle up to do a little shopping and lunching so I’m a happy gal! Rosé all day! On another note, I am extremely excited for this blog post and outfit because it is one of the first I actually shot where the weather wasn’t extremely unbearable.
Lace-up sweaters have been all the rage season after season and surprise, they are making an appearance again this Fall/Winter. You all know that I have a small obsession with lace-up anything. I was on the hunt for some other Fall shades this season and stumbled upon this olive green sweater from Honeybum. When I noticed it was under $40 it was immediately in my shopping cart and on its way to my closet! P.S. If you use code DTK20 on the Honeybum site you will get 20% off your ENTIRE order!
I like to consider the rest of this look my must-have Fall staples. Pieces that I will be wearing over and over again with different pieces throughout the season. This beanie was a favorite of mine last year and it is still one of my go-to hats. It is under $50 and is so cozy!! I know I have briefly talked about these jeans before but want to reiterate my love for them. It’s been extremely tough to find denim that is skinny enough on the ankle, until now. These jeans from Mott & Bow are AMAZING. Seriously. They are priced around $100 and fit like a dream! Last but not least, these booties are a total score. I recently did an entire post on just these booties because they are that amazing. They are a little over $100 but are the perfect suede color with a comfortable block heel. My main point in that post was that the cut on these booties shows off your ankle more so you don’t get that cankle look. #Winner!
