Do you ever find things whether it be clothes or an object that instantly takes you back to your childhood? Or how all of those old clothes of yours are now making a major comeback? I always used to hear people say, “Man, I should have held on to all of those old shirts! They’re back in style!” But now I seem to be the one saying that! I was an 80s baby and grew up in the 90s and never would I have thought my absolute favorite denim would be making a comeback in 2020 with the new Walmart Jordache vintage collection!
Walmart Fashion and Jordache just launched the Walmart Jordache Vintage collection and it is everything you thought it would be and so much more. When I first heard about this collection my first thought was no way and then my second thought was, I need to get my hands on this collection right this second! Thankfully Walmart has the speediest shipping ever and I got all 15 of my items in 2 days!
I couldn’t wait to share all of my favorites with y’all from the Walmart Jordache vintage collection so I went a little overboard and did a huge try on session and I shot my 3 top favorite looks so y’all could see how I would personally style each item. I hope y’all love these pieces as much as I do and if you were a 90s kid, I hope it brings back some nostalgic memories for you too! And just wait until you see the prices!
First up, I am going to share some of my favorite shots with y’all and then the Walmart Jordache try-on session recap will be after these!
This try-on-session is saved over on my Instagram Highlights if you missed any details or missed the entire thing. I go over all sizing and fit details on this post as well if you don’t want to watch on Instagram! Just click on an image to shop direct!
JORDACHE VINTAGE TRY ON SESSION
JORDACHE VINTAGE KELLY JUMPER
We’re going to start out with one of my favorite pieces from this collection. Actually, they’re all my favorite and all so different from one another. This dress just stood out to me when I was perusing the Walmart site. I absolutely love a good denim dress and I honestly haven’t found one I couldn’t live without in years! This actually comes in a Jordache logo print too!
I ended up going with the XS in this dress. I always prefer my denim dresses to fit a little tighter on me or else I start looking a little frumpy. If you are on the bustier side I would say stick with your usual size unless you don’t want to button it up all the way! It is such a gorgeous and flattering fit especially for summer. Plus it is only $27!
And can we talk about how cute this striped tote is?? It is also from Walmart and priced under $40.
This bustier is definitely my favorite piece from this entire collection. It stood out to me the most over anything else. I even sent the link to this collection over to my friend Sarah and she instantly sent over a screenshot of this shot and was like, “I KNOW you are going to get this!” It is such a me top and I was so excited to get it in and style it for y’all!
This print actually comes in denim jeans too and I’m actually regretting not ordering those for this post too! I think this top is absolutely perfect for every single season. You’re not only limited to wearing this in the Spring or Summer. You can easily layer this with a blazer, Moto jacket or even a long sleeve shirt underneath. The front buttons are fully functional and the straps are adjustable as well.
I opted for the size Small in this top, mainly because of the built in cups. I am pretty busty so my usual size XS would have been way too small. If you aren’t busty, go down a size. The back is fully smocked so you do have some extra stretch. And the best part about this top is that it is only $20! What a statement piece!
These jeggings are also from Jordache. They aren’t part of the Jordache Vintage collection but they are beyond amazing. By now y’all probably know I rarely wear jeans because I am so picky about the fit. I was a little skeptical ordering $16 denim because I don’t even like $200 denim! Let me just tell you, my expectations were exceeded. Best $16 I have ever spent. The fit of these are the best I have ever found. I am wearing the size 2 for reference.
Who doesn’t love a good graphic sweatshirt? A sweatshirt paired with shorts or leggings has been my go-to during self-isolation. I figured, why not add a couple more to the mix! This particular sweatshirt comes in white and a dark charcoal grey which I will link below. I absolutely loved the graphic on the white version though. It is so retro and fun!
I was also amazed at the quality and the price. They are only $25 and oh so comfy! I ended up sizing up to the medium so I could have an extra comfy, oversized fit. Stick with your usual size if you want a normal fit. It is the perfect length to wear with shorts and even long enough to wear with leggings.
This is another super cozy piece that I couldn’t pass up. There’s nothing better than finding an extremely comfortable and cozy zip-up that goes with anything. I look at these like cardigans essentially. Cardigans and zip-ups go everywhere with me. They are in the car, in practically every room of my house because I wear them 24/7.
I loved this particular zip-up because it was also a hoodie and had the 2 front pockets. It is also priced under $30 which is a total steal and comes in white too! I stuck with my usual size Small in this for reference.
Say hello to an outfit I never thought I would wear! Don’t get me wrong; I do love a good crop top but I would usually be wearing them with something high waisted so my stomach didn’t show. I don’t know why I was drawn to this top but I knew I had to have it. Maybe because it has the graphic of one of my favorite childhood movies on it; Free Willy!
Weirdly enough, I think this crop top is extremely versatile and I’ve actually seen it worn multiple ways. I absolutely love the idea of wearing it as a little bathing suit cover-up. You can also get away with wearing it with denim shorts, a high waisted pair of denim, a mini skirt, pencil skirt, leggings as a workout top! So many awesome options and it’s under $15!
This top does come in another print that is the same as the white sweatshirt I showed y’all earlier. I am also wearing the small for reference.
Last but certainly not least is this white graphic tee and Jordache denim. There is nothing more chic than a white tee and skinny jeans. I don’t know why I love this type of look so much but it looks amazing on everyone. It’s a classic look that can really be dressed up or down. Throw on a blazer and a pair of heels are you are good to go for a more dressed up look.
I thought this tee was so fun with the smaller graphic in the front and a larger graphic on the back. I saw the actual vintage version of this tee and they look nearly identical! Jordache did such an amazing job with this collection. I am wearing the size small for reference and I think it fits true to size. It’s a tad oversized but I really don’t like my t-shirts too tight. This tee is also priced under $15!
This pair of denim is absolutely amazing too. I ended up ordering multiple sizes because I wasn’t sure how these would fit compared to other denim I have. I stuck with the size 0 in these. They do have a decent amount of stretch and are extremely comfortable. Even better, they are only $17!
