{Suki + Solaine}

When you find that perfect dress, you just know. Kind of like when you find the perfect wedding dress, you get that super excited feeling that this is totally the one!! I am a huge sucker for maxi dresses and am continuously searching for the best of the best! I came across Suki & Solaine a few weeks ago after browsing online for an event maxi.

And BAM, there she was… The most gorgeous dress I had ever seen! It looked absolutely stunning on the model and was hoping it would look half as good on me! And did it ever! I wore this baby out the other night and I literally felt like a celeb! Everyone was raving about this dress and how flattering it was.

The cut is amazing; first off. This is a style that should work on most everyone’s body. The top is more fitted, but not too tight of a fit and the bottom is a looser, draped fit. There aren’t any parts of this dress that are going to be digging into your skin or giving you a muffin top! The lower portion of this dress just rests on your lower back and is beyond comfortable. I felt like a million bucks!

The skirt part of this dress is all different lengths, as you will see in the photos. There aren’t any parts that were too long and dragging on the ground. It was the perfect length to walk in where I wouldn’t feel like I was about to bust my ass on the sidewalk! It was so perfect how the dress flips when I was walking too!

I can’t say enough about this dress and this brand. Everything is so meticulously planned out. Even the print has an amazing story! This distressed stripe was created by designer Nicole Puszynski and is exclusive to the brand. She started the process with a bamboo brush saturated with india ink on watercolor paper, before lightly misting the still-wet ink with water to create a frayed, undone look.

If you’re interested in one of their gorgeous dresses, plan ahead… Most of their items take 2 weeks to make and deliver. But it is well worth the wait!
