Mother’s Day is less than a week away and if you’re like me you are extremely unprepared. Each and every year I ask my mom what she might want and without fail her response is always, “Oh honey, don’t spend your money on me. I don’t need anything.” And then you don’t get her anything and she’s upset… Sound familiar? So that response really means, I can’t think of what I want so surprise me with something; anything. I definitely learned my lesson after that one and only time of not giving her a gift!

I’m usually so on top of these things but this year has thrown me off a little. We are both going to be in Italy together for Mother’s Day but figured I still needed to get her something. But what do you get the woman who literally has everything and doesn’t need anything else! I’m literally the one going over to her house and Marie Kondo-ing every single closet and shelf!

My main goal in choosing specific retailers was each store’s price point and if they sold multiple types of products. There is nothing that makes me happier than saving time and not having to drive around to a gazillion different store to get different items. Each of these locations sells a wide variety of goodies so it’s literally a one-stop-shop!

Unique Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Kendra Scott

My first stop was Kendra Scott. I don’t think there is one mom out there that doesn’t know Kendra’s jewelry. She has taken over the costume jewelry arena and has even added a few home goods to her repertoire. From earrings, to necklaces, to even nail polish, Kendra has some great unique Mother’s Day gift ideas.

What I love about Kendra Scott is the majority of her jewelry is affordable and attainable at every budget. There aren’t many jewelry designers that have jewelry for every price range from under $50 to over $1000. You can get the designer look for less or you can splurge on beautiful diamond pieces.

Kendra Scott is even getting the kids involved too. If you go in to create a piece of jewelry from the Color Bar the kids get their own coloring sheet with the exact piece of jewelry they designed for their mom. They can write a little note and create custom art to go with the jewelry they are giving. I share more of that in my Instagram Stories.

Whether you want to add 2 earrings to the set or mix and match with a necklace and earrings, you have endless options! Tell me; who does not enjoy wearing workout wear around 24/7? People love it so much they gave it it’s own title; athleisure-wear. I’m not a mom, but take it from me, anything from Lululemon would be an amazing gift.

I know getting your moms exact sizing and fit is probably a difficult task. Plus, who wants to give away clues on what type of gift she might be getting?! I mainly focused on 2 different types of gifting. The first being the most beautiful cardigan. Head to my Instagram to see me do a quick try-on session with this exact cardigan I’m talking about. Tory Burch

Another one of my mom’s absolute favorite retailers that has goodies at all price points. Yes, most of these are more of a splurge but they are classic pieces that are going to be in style season after season. I ended up going a little Tory Burch crazy when picking my gifts from here.

I picked out quite a few beautiful leather bags that would be beautiful classics for Spring and Summer. If a bag really isn’t in your budget, consider a pair of leather sandals. My mom is in love with practically every style of Tory Burch shoe so you really can’t go wrong. They do have stunning jewelry as well that won’t break the bank. A lot of their leather goods right now are very Hermes inspired but at a fraction of the price.

One of the reasons I love Tory Burch is their amazing customer service. If you ever have an issue with any of your products they are more than happy to help fix the issue. Any time I have had problems with my flip flops breaking they would always send me a new pair, no questions asked. All I had to do was send the damaged product back and a new pair was coming my way. One reason I will always be a loyal customer.

MAC

MAC is my one and only beauty retailer in the batch. They are a one-stop-shop for anything and everything beauty. If you’re wanting to help your mom get a little glammed up this mother’s day this is a great option. Anthropologie is probably most well-known in the gifting community for their candles! For me, my go-to is always the Blue Volcano scent! It is their signature scent that is always burning in their stores. Every single time I smell that candle I feel like I’m back in an Anthropologie!

Anthropologie has really upped their product diversity over the last few years. They are always an amazing one-stop-shop for everything fashion and jewelry and now extend all the way into kitchenware and home goods. Some of my favorite aprons and coffee mugs are all from Anthropologie. If your mom loves being in the kitchen would find the cutest apron and have it embroidered with her name or a cute saying on it. My mom always loves when my gifts come from the heart!

If you are just looking for a simple, easy gift for your mom Anthropologie has a lot of great items. From cute earrings, to some colorful home goods for the kitchen, they will always have something sentimental to warm your mom’s heart for Mother’s Day!

BLO Dry Bar

I know most of y’all have no idea what BLO even is. I brought my husband in with me and he was completely clueless on what they actually do there. It is super simple. No cuts, no color: Just wash, blo, and go! They essentially style your hair from start to finish so you don’t have to do any of the work! Talk about the ultimate experiential gift! The Domain location even offers makeup services, nails, waxing AND lashes!

I absolutely love the idea of having a mother/daughter pamper session at BLO. They make the experience so much fun! With the classic blow-out around $50 here, you can either treat your mom to the experience, or get one with her and make it a girls trip to the salon! This salon for sure knows how to put a smile on your face as you walk out of the salon!

True Food Kitchen

Last but not least, the ultimate brunch spot. Actually, it’s the ultimate spot for any meal of the day if you ask me! True Food Kitchen recently opened up a couple of month’s ago in The Domain and you better believe we’ve been frequent customers.

If you don’t have time to go-out and get a gift for you mom, take her to the yummiest brunch she’s ever had! I’m not even joking y’all. Grayson and I went to do a brunch tasting with 3 different entrees and drink pairings and holy moly, they were all amazing. I highly recommend trying the Sunrise Bowl, the Kale and Cobb Earth Salad, the Avocado Toast (my personal fave) and for dessert, the Key Lime Mousse. It’s vegan and gluten free! And if you want to pair some tasty drinks with those meals I highly recommend the Orange Antioxidant which has cava, orange, antioxidant tea and lemon. The Blueberry Mint which has cava, blueberry, mint and lemon. Or try my favorite, the Strawberry Rose that has cava, strawberry, rose and lemon. If you don’t want any alcohol try the Sparkling Lavender Lemonade! It has lemon, honey, lavender and sparkling water.
