{Splurge or Steal – Nautical Sea of Style}

Hey, sailor! The nautical trend has been all the rage for what seems like centuries and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. It’s one of those ageless trends that tends to come back into the fashion world every few years or so. Whether it is in style or not, you can really never go wrong with wearing something nautical. I feel like it is such a classic look that is going to turn heads any season; Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter and it’s one of the easiest to achieve.

For my latest Splurge or Steal in Austin Woman Magazine, I wanted to showcase this ever-so-fabulous trend and really explain that you don’t have to spend thousands to achieve chic, nautical fashions. When I think of nautical I immediately think of trench coats, navy stripes, neutrals and white pants. Surprisingly enough, this was one of the toughest splurge or steals that I have done in the years I’ve had my column! If you’ve read some of my other splurge articles in the magazine or on the blog, you know that I take these very seriously and want each look to be identical to the other. I can’t even begin to tell y’all how hard it was to find similar white pants that had a big price difference, but I did my best! Of course, these looks don’t need to be absolutely identical as the point of my column is to show that you can achieve a similar look and save thousands of dollars while you’re at it.

The first image below is the gorgeous splurge look! I seriously had a swoon worthy moment over this beautiful Burberry trench coat and Stella McCartney tote! Actually, I was obsessing over the entire outfit, but if you notice the price difference the steal is probably more up my alley! I’ve linked all of the products for both looks below each image for easy shopping!
