Is it any surprise that diamonds are a girls best friend? No matter the shape or size, diamonds are always something we (ladies) will cherish forever, unless it’s your wedding ring from an ex-husband! 😜 On a more serious note, diamonds are something that represent love and beauty, and who doesn’t love that? When I first heard of Simon G and saw their pieces I instantly fell in love. They have been such a prominent brand in the diamond industry and I am so excited to share some amazing finds with y’all! I definitely had a princess moment going in and picking out two of my most coveted pieces to shoot and share with all of my wonderful readers.
At a young age, I was never really one who wore much jewelry, especially fancy jewelry. I was always getting dirty and playing outside acting like a boy, so obviously my parents weren’t going to be spoiling me with nice jewelry. It wasn’t until I had graduated high school that my mom gave me her old engagement ring from my dad. She had saved it for me to make something special out of. This is my most cherished diamond other than my engagement ring from Grayson. I ended up having my mom’s diamond stone made into a pendant for a necklace that I wore on my wedding day. It was such a special moment when she realized that I had actually held on to the ring and made it into something I wear everyday. The diamond jewelry I own has such meaning to me and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I always love having a great story behind pieces and they aren’t nearly as special to me if they don’t.
Whether you believe that diamonds are materialistic, they hold a special place in most people’s hearts. Ask any woman who has ever received diamonds as a gift or a gorgeous diamond engagement ring, they are the best gifts most ladies receive. I mean, this girl could obviously use more diamonds in her life. Like I said above, diamonds symbolize love, they are romantic, they hold special memories and they will last forever and ever. Is there anything better than passing on heirlooms that will be around after 100 years?? You really can’t go wrong with diamonds as they 100% make perfect gifts for every occasion. At least I think so! ☺️
When I went into browse Simon G‘s current collection, my first choice was a stunning vintage-inspired 18k white gold diamond ring. The band features a detailed, floral design bordered by .52 ctw of white round brilliant diamonds. Swoon worthy! Even Grayson saw this ring and fell in love… hint hint… On a more serious note, this ring is amazing and is such a statement piece you wouldn’t need any other jewelry when you’re wearing this. I paired it with a dainty 18k white gold leaf lariat necklace. They complemented each other perfectly and it wasn’t over the top with diamonds. That is something that always drives me nuts in the styling world. Even if you are the biggest diamond fan in the world, don’t go overboard. Dainty diamonds are some of my the most versatile pieces which means you’re more likely to get your money’s worth.
