It’s almost here! The 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is only a week away. Who is excited? Most of y’all know that this sale is being run in a completely different manner than past years due to COVID-19. We are all navigating a new normal with most everything in our lives, including shopping so I wanted to give y’all some helpful tips & tricks to navigate the 2020 NSALE.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Tips and Tricks
The most important change this year is that the NSALE preview is LIVE to EVERYONE before the sale is actually live. This is the first year they have ever done that so take advantage. You can create wish lists for a seamless checkout experience. Hopefully, with this new change you are more assured to get the items you actually want. Most other years it has been a total free-for-all and things would well out so fast and never restock!

Very similar to previous years, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping access is based on your spending level with Nordstrom. Your specific level is dependent on how much money you spend throughout the year. The higher your spend, the earlier you get to shop. I will add a graphic below that shows the tier levels. Either way, create your wish list so you know exactly what you want and can check out quicker when you’re time comes to shop.
Another tip to keep in mind is that if you are a Nordstrom card holder you have the advantage of shopping early. It is rare that I have retailer credit cards at this point in my life because the benefits don’t really outweigh what my AMEX gets me… but I will never get rid of my Nordstrom card. The perks on this card are hard to pass up! Not only do you get early access to shopping, you get Nordstrom Notes which is essentially free money when you spend and you get double point days which get your more notes!

If you aren’t a Nordstrom card holder you will get NSALE shopping access on August 19. The only downside to this is that most things are sold out by that date. And I’ve heard through the grapevine that this Anniversary Sale will have significantly less stock than previous years.
I’ve scoured every single item that is on this year’s Anniversary Sale and have rounded up my top picks that I personally will be shopping for. I never go crazy shopping this sale so don’t feel that you need to spend just because it’s a good deal. Focus on exactly what you need.
2020 has been hard for all of us and I will only be purchasing items I know that I need and will get use out of! But please do not go into debt because of this sale! I have rounded up my top picks in the collage below. Simply click on an image to shop and save to your wish list.
Items with a high chance of selling out during NSALE –
Barefoot Dreams – This is the one time of the year that I stock up on anything and everything Barefoot Dreams. The blankets always sell out the fastest along with the cardigans. This year they even have some pet goodies on sale!
Spanx – NSALE is the time to stock up on Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. They are priced at $64 and will always sell out quick. I always buy 2 pairs to have as backup since I wear these daily during the cooler months.
Adidas – If you are in the market for anything and everything Adidas, stock up now. Their sneakers always sell out the fastest. This is when I purchase all of my sneakers because they are so affordable. But seriously, buy them quick because sizes do sell out in hours.
