To say I am excited to partner with Walmart on their We Dress America campaign is an understatement. Everything about their mission statement really resonated with me.
Whoever you are, wherever you’re from – your style has a home here.
In a day and age when we are all trying to find our voice and stand for what is right, Walmart is really inspiring all of us to be true to ourselves no matter what. And what better way to express ourselves than through fashion!
As I started browsing the site I couldn’t help but fall in love with practically everything. Which makes sense why I ended up spending over $250 on clothes, shoes and bags! I started sending photos of my quick try-on session to friends and every single response was, There is NO way that is all from Walmart!! But my absolute favorite piece from my order had to be this polka dot dress!
Can y’all believe this stunner is only $8.50?!?! I literally had absolutely no expectations on quality when I ordered this dress. When I opened up the package I was blown away. This dress feels like a garment that I would get at a high end retailer. The quality and detailing on this dress were out of this world.
This dress was my first pick when ordering from the We Dress America collection. I had picked out a few other dress options just in case my polka dot favorite didn’t work out. To my surprise, this dress fit better than I could have ever imagined. Don’t be scared away when you see that this is a Junior’s dress. This dress fits as any other women’s dress would. It is still fully stocked from sizes Small all the way to XL!
I am wearing the size small and like I said, it fits perfectly. If you are on the bustier side I would highly recommend ordering a size up. You might feel a little constricted in the arm pit area if you do have a larger bust. The length is absolutely perfect and extremely flattering. You never know what you might get with a Junior’s dress but it hit at the perfect spot. It’s not too short and not too long. For those of y’all wondering, I am 5’8″ for reference.
This polka dot beauty has the most stunning details for being so affordable. Notice the cutest little ruffles that embellish the sleeves and shoulders for such a perfect, Spring touch. As if that wasn’t enough, there is even a keyhole cutout in the back with a button closure. This dress is also fully lined in the body so you don’t have to worry about the garment being see through.
For $8.50, this is a dress I am going to be wearing over and over again. It’s actually one of my first picks to wear for Easter! Definitely give this one a try if you’re still looking for that perfect Easter dress but aren’t really a huge fan of pastels. The black and white polka dots along with the lightweight fabric make it perfect for Spring.
As if you thought this was the end of the amazing deals, just wait!
This bag was another Walmart find that is less than $15! I actually ended up buying THREE different colors in this same exact bag. If that doesn’t say obsessed then I don’t know what does! This circle cross body comes in EIGHT different colors and patterns that are ALL perfect for Easter, Spring and Summer. I will link all of the options below for easy shopping!
I finished off this look with the cutest wedges that are surprise, also from Walmart! These wedges are also the perfect touch for any and every Spring/Summer look. Whether it be mini dresses, maxi dresses, shorts, skinny jeans, etc. these wedges go with it all! They come in THREE different colors and range in size from 5.5 to 11! I know my mom will be excited because she’s one of those big footed ladies that can never find cute shoes in her size! Sorry, mom!
Overall, I highly encourage y’all to join this amazing campaign with me! Head to the We Dress America page HERE to start shopping! Post your looks on Instagram using the hashtags #WeDressAmerican and #WalmartFashion so I can see what y’all picked!!
