You know you love a boutique when you can go to their website and you literally want everything. So then, you look at the prices and say to yourself… I can totally afford EVERYTHING! Then you practically order it all and of course, it all fits absolutely amazing. And then you think… wow, this is my new favorite store EVER! Ya, now you know how I feel about ILY Couture!
I’ve worked with ILY Couture in the past few months, styling the cutest swing dress for summer, that you can go back and see HERE. I instantly fell in love with them and wanted to share their latest and greatest summer outfit with y’all!
If you noticed from the last post, I went super casual for a fun, summer look but wanted to snazz this one up a bit for a more modern, dressed up vibe. I chose a gorgeous blush pink dress with the cutest strap detailing. This was a major favorite of mine because it comes in pink AND white, can easily be layered and it’s only $50. Definite must have, in my book!
Speaking of layering… I chose a gorgeous linen trench to give this look a more structured feel. This is something I would be able to wear to the office and then out for date night or wine with the girls. It’s extremely light weight for our Texas summers, which is a lifesaver because attempting to dress cute in this heat and humidity is a killer! Another one of my must-haves!
This outfit was definitely an easy one to accessorize. The color palette is very neutral so have some fun with your shoes and bag! I paired this dress and trench with some GORGEOUS Rockstud Valentino‘s I scored at Luisa Via Roma! If you know me, you know I love edgy style to fit with my tomboy demeanor, so these shoes were the perfect complement to the look.
This stunning Rebecca Minkoff was another fun accessory I wanted to throw in to give this look a little texture. Y’all have definitely seen me post this bag before; quite often actually! It’s THE BEST! Black leather, silver chain and straw detailing on the front?? Yes, please!! Don’t be afraid to pair multiple textures or prints within one look. As long as you have the right color palette, mixing and matching is a breeze!
