Is it just me or are the months flying by this year? I feel like it should be March or April right now; not June… As most of y’all have seen on Instagram, Grayson and I were finally able to get away and head to Tulum for a week. Talk about relaxing! I am slowly rolling out those posts on Instagram and have added a few of my favorites to this roundup! Keep an eye out for some fun, beach blog posts coming out this week! I’m so excited to share this trip with y’all!! Quite a few of y’all have been asking me questions about where we stayed and what we did so I will be outlining everything for y’all!
I know quite a few of y’all aren’t signed up for LiketoKnow.it so this gives you the opportunity to shop my favorite, still in-stock looks. Did you know, you can also shop ALL of my Instagram posts from my website directly at www.dtkaustin.com/shopinstagram?
This shot is probably one of my absolute favorites from the Tulum trip. They had this amazing swinging bed that looked out on the beach. Grayson and I stayed there for hours one day and it was heavenly!
I also lived in this bikini while we were there. You know those suits you just fall in love with because the fit is amazing and even though you brought what seems like a gazillions suits, you only were the one or two? Ya, this was one of those!!
Here’s another gorgeous suit that I wore constantly on the trip. The beautiful lace detail literally looks amazing on anyone and its surprisingly affordable too! My sarong/cover up is a must-have, mainly because it’s only $7!!
I bought this top specifically for our beach trip and of course, it started selling out before we had even gotten back! I would have posted it earlier BUT we had no wi-fi out there. I listed the top and dress version below in the scroller. I know there are still mediums and larges left in the top and I believe the dress is still in stock.
I recently did a blog post on this entire outfit raving about this romper and how it is a must-have for everyone and every body type. It’s priced at a little over $100 but is well worth the price. If you didn’t see the post and are curious why I am so in love with this whole look, click HERE.
Back to Tulum-wear! Grayson and I tried to take more iPhone photos while we were on the beach since people seem to like more real life type shots. I’m still not sure about the iPhone vs Pro-camera shots, but what do y’all think? Anyway, this pom-pom beauty can be worn as a top, dress and a cover-up! Definitely worth the price as it is extremely versatile!
If you’re looking for affordable swim/beach-wear, check out & Other Stories. I have linked the last couple of photos in the scrollers below. If you’re not familiar with this brand, they are a higher quality branch off of H&M. All of their bathing suits are priced around $50 for a single one piece and both bikini pieces. Definitely worth it!!
This was one of the funnest and quickest shoots I have done in a long time! Sarah (@thehouseofsequins) came to visit a few weeks ago and we had a blast. We had the idea to switch up our most popular go-to outfits and see if anyone noticed who was who. Obviously, it wasn’t that hard to tell the difference but it was hilarious!

This outfit was from my partnership with Zappos and Timberland! I wasn’t able to link anything so I really wanted to get these shots added into this round-up. If you missed the blog post and want to see more photos of this look click HERE. This top is back in stock in ALL sizes and is extremely affordable. It is already my most worn top this summer! Nordstrom even added a new color – HERE!
Like I’ve said before this top is literally my best seller! Yes, it is a little on the higher side but it is well worth the price! Everyone who has purchased this top has absolutely loved it and keeps purchasing other styles. One thing that is so great about this top is that you can wear it 1. with anything and 2. you can wear it backwards too!! Extremely versatile and extremely comfortable. I know a lot of people have asked what type of bra to wear this with so I figured I would just add it in this post. I personally wear pasties with this top, especially if I am wearing it backwards, like in this photo. If I am wearing it the other way around and want a little extra coverage I will wear a lace bralette that blends well with the lace back.
Beach please! I have been such a huge fan of big floppy hats this season, especially the hats with fun sayings on them!! I’ve linked a few fun options below!
If you’ve been on the market for a gorgeous, off-the-shoulder LWD (little white dress) look no further. This dress is amazing for summer because 1. it’s white, 2. it’s fully lined, 3. it’s off-the-shoulder, which is a huge trend this summer and 4. it fits true to size!
Between this two piece set and the peplum top I mentioned above, I haven’t really been wearing much else this summer. Right when I got this set it sold out within a matter of days so I searched high and low for similar prints and styles. Below, I have linked 5 options in two piece sets and rompers that are all pretty affordable!! But get them quick because they are selling out FAST.
