How was everyone’s weekend? I feel like the last couple of days just flew by and now I’m prepping for yet another job out of town. I had mentioned my mom was coming in town in my last post and we had so much fun, I was sad to see her leave. If you’ve been following my Instagram Stories you got a peek into our weekend and how she took half of my furniture with her! By now, most of y’all know I have a habit of renovating and had started painting my brick fireplace white. My house doesn’t get a ton of light with all of the trees outside so I felt it needed a little refresher to lighten up the room. With that finished, most of my furniture didn’t really fit anymore, so she decided to take them off my hands! Such a sweet mom! 😜 Now it looks like I just moved in my house with absolutely no furniture or decor! Time to shop!
Before my week gets insane with work I wanted to get this post up for y’all. I’ve been working on getting some content out with one designer handbag in particular; this Stella McCartney faux leather handbag I recently got at Nordstrom. My last post talked all about how to easily transition your summer wardrobe to fall with designer goods plus how to calculate your price per wear. This post is all about how to dress edgy with a feminine flare to it.
My go-to Fall look is always a combo of all black with a hint of white or grey but sometimes I look in the mirror and think I look a little too edgy and am wearing a little too much black! Well, maybe not that last part… I’ve been in the market for a designer, investment piece for Fall and instantly fell in love with this Stella McCartney bag. Normally, I’m not drawn towards anything floral but this bag really stood out to me for some reason. Probably because it is black with gorgeous floral embroidery but still has that edgy vibe with the chain and stud detailing.
This lace-up top is another way to add a feminine vibe to your edgier look. Normally, I would be wearing a solid tank or tee with my jeans and moto jackets but this tank has been one of my favorite tops for over a year now. If I don’t sound like a broken record yet, this top now comes in a more affordable option in black and white that is only $55! Y’all… the CamiNYC version of this top has always been such a huge hit with my followers, family and friends but they were always turned off at the fact that it was over $100. Now, you can get the same exact look for much cheaper. I love how this cami has such beautiful detailing that it adds a gorgeous touch to any look.
It’s definitely not hard to add more feminine vibes to your looks. Just keep some of these tips in mind and opt for a fun bag, top or even pretty floral statement earrings or jewelry. The littlest touches always make the biggest differences in monochromatic outfits. Most times it’s tough to find jeans or tops with a fun, feminine flare but there are so many gorgeous accessories and even floral embroidered moto jackets out right now. And if you are totally opposed to wearing any color, there are PLENTY of feminine pieces that are still black!
