This bralette blog post is sponsored by Macy’s. All opinions are my own.
Do you ever have those days where you’re either working from home or just spending the day in the house and you literally realize you’ve been in your PJs the entire day? That was totally me the other day except I was in the most ridiculous outfit ever. I had ordered some new bralettes from Macy’s to try out before we left town and ended up wearing one of them all day, tags and all.
By now y’all know I wear a bralette with every single type of top I own. They are such a comfortable option if you’re wanting to give your bras a little break. Personally, I love how bralettes with support have prettier detailing that shows with off the shoulder tops or sweaters.
So, here I am, trying on the last one and realized I hadn’t fed Steven. Steven is my dog, btw. After that I apparently got side tracked again with work and other nonsense for the entire day. Grayson gets home from work and he’s like WTF are you wearing!? WHY are you walking around the house like that?? I immediately realize that I never changed clothes after my little try-on session hours before. I’m not known for really matching my outfits when I’m working from home so I obviously had to recreate the ridiculousness while out of town in Canada! BTW, it was 15 degrees outside when we shot these!
My first thought was, my gosh I look completely ridiculous! But then my second thought was, hmmmm, this bralette with support is a definite keeper! I wore that baby for 6-7 hours without even realizing I was wearing a bra at all. Let me preface that with the fact that I normally work from home in my PJs or athletic-wear which really doesn’t require a bra! Another thing is the bralettes I normally do wear throughout the day get all cattywampus and a boob ends up halfway out with the other completely secured… Big boob problems…
Anyway, I really wanted to write this post to let y’all know about this new brand that I had never tried before. It’s called b.tempt’d and I came across them while I was perusing the Macy’s site for new bralettes that had a little more oomph to them. I’ve been wearing the basic lace, halter bralettes for years and needed to mix things up a bit. I fell in love with the style and fit of this particular style.
Even the description of this bra says it all. We confess – this bra is designed to see and be seen. I absolutely loved the all-over lace detailing along with the fact that this bralette has an underwire. Every single bralette I have ever owned does not have an underwire. I totally understand that underwires are pretty uncomfortable in a standard bra but y’all have to give this style a try. I am the pickiest person when it comes to bras and bralettes, and obviously this bralette with support passed the test.
Sizing is a little different on this particular style. They run small all the way to XL. I normally wear a 32DD and ended up going with a small. I have a pretty small ribcage and wasn’t sure which would fit me best. Thankfully, Macy’s has an extremely easy return and exchange policy if you ever get the wrong size or want to return something all together.
They have actually been a blessing when shopping for lingerie. I honestly don’t shop anywhere else. I’ve found that out of any online retailer, Macy’s has the absolute best lingerie selection by far. They have a wide assortment in extended sizes & fits to find your perfect fit no matter your size.
