This Holiday gifts post was sponsored by Tuesday Morning. All opinions are my own.

Tis’ the season for holiday shopping! Or so you would think… I feel like as I get older shopping for others has become harder and harder. Is it because we’re getting older, on tighter budgets, we don’t need as much, people are getting pickier than ever, or all of the above? Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love gift giving. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do no matter what the occasion. I really love seeing the look on a loved ones face when they open a gift that is truly meaningful to them.

But really, who has the time to sit in traffic, spend hours mindlessly wandering the mall going to 20 different stores, only to find a mediocre gift that means absolutely nothing. Not me! Even online shopping is stressful these days. There are endless options and I seem to get overwhelmed within 2.5 seconds of searching. Now I know why Santa lives at the North Pole!

I devised a new plan for my holiday shopping this year… I was going to find one single store that I can walk into that will have a slew of thoughtful, one-of-a-kind options for every single person I need to shop for. Is that too much to ask for?! Giving a meaningful gift is my biggest goal during the holidays!

I started to make a list of who all I needed to shop for with a few qualities that stand out about each person and what they have mentioned in the past they might want or need. I feel like as my list of people grows smaller the challenge of gift giving gets even tougher. Probably because I really want to spend the time finding something they will absolutely love. One of the most exciting parts of the holidays is the moment when someone grabs your gift to open and then the anticipation of their reaction when they see what it is. This could literally make or break a relationship! I mean, who wants socks for Christmas? Oh wait, I would actually love to get socks for Christmas.

After hours of brainstorming my best plan of holiday shopping action, I found my secret weapon. It’s a little place called… Tuesday Morning. And let me tell you… I found gifts for everyone on my list for under $300. That included 5 massive bags full of goodies and a GIANT Chewbacca for Steven Jalapeno!

This blog post is going to be a sort of reverse gift guide. I’m going to show y’all all the Tuesday Morning gifts that I got and show how we would personally use these in our own homes so y’all can get some inspiration before I wrap everything up. Hopefully the people I’m gifting these items to don’t mind getting repurposed gifts. Haha!

I had the idea of getting everything together to wrap up for everyone and show y’all cute little holiday gift set ideas but honestly, I like seeing things out and about in action so I can see how I would use a product. Makes me feel like I need the item even more that way! Is anyone else like that?!

Holiday Shopping: Tuesday Morning Gifts

Here is my Holiday Shopping list:

First up – My dad, Mary, and their 5 dogs. They are people that literally want and need absolutely nothing. So to say gift giving is a challenge is an understatement. To give you guys a little back-story; they have 4 search and rescue dogs and they just adopted a new lab/shepherd mix from a shelter. Their dogs are their lives so that is what I really wanted to focus on when shopping for them. Every single year I get them something dog related so it’s become a tradition in a sense!

I was amazed by Tuesday Morning’s pet selection. They have an ENTIRE pet section with some absolutely amazing gift options. I had no idea their pet section was so extensive and diverse! They had everything from pet beds, to poop bags, to clothing, to actual pet home decor from some really well known brands.

I ended up getting them 3 decorative frames with cute doggie sayings that they can either use as shelf decor or hang as a mini gallery wall. Tuesday Morning also had the cutest little cookie tin with 3 different colored dogs on them which looked exactly like Josey, Ruby and Hayden; 3 of their search dogs. This sounds so corny, but a simple cookie tin almost brought me to happy tears because it just seemed so perfect. As if me finding that was meant to be.

Want to know what another amazing gift is?? For anyone at any age… Well, the coffee drinking age… Fun coffee mugs! If you follow me on Instagram you know by now that I have a major addiction to mugs. I was drawn to these plaid monogrammed mugs and ended up getting a few as gifts! They are absolutely perfect for the holidays and were too affordable to pass up. I mean who doesn’t love coffee mugs and monogrammed anything?!

My mom and James were up next. My mom is probably the easiest person to shop for in the entire world. At times. She’s one of those people that always tells you to not worry about getting her a gift but when you don’t give her something she gets upset. For her, it’s the thought that counts no matter what the item may be.

But with that comes the accumulation of too many things she doesn’t need! My main focus with them is to find an extremely practical gift that can be used on a daily basis or something that can be consumed. My first thought; home decor or anything that accessorizes wine. She just retired and turned 60 so her socialite, party hosting days are just beginning!

Tuesday Morning had so many adorable wine goodies I just couldn’t contain my excitement. I found the cutest Santa wine sleeves and the funniest Santa wine container that reads, He Sees You When You’re Drinking on the lid! Of course, I couldn’t just get her holiday finds so I focused on looking for some chic home decor that she can use everyday in her home along with hosting a party.

I snagged the most beautiful baroque, mirrored tray for only $25 along with the yummiest Frasier Pine candle and a few other accessories including the most adorable metal snowmen with buffalo plaid scarves on. (I feel like I used these in every single photo I took because they are that versatile!) The tray is such a beautiful statement piece that can be used on multiple occasions season after season. Sorry to ruin your Christmas surprise mom!

Steven Jalapeno (the dog) – He is probably the toughest to shop for. Talk about being high maintenance and stubborn in his old age. Steven is all about toys and comfort these days so I really had to focus on something that he would use or play with everyday. His favorite thing to do is burrow with me under a super cozy blanket or bring me toys while I’m trying to relax in the bath. So I knew exactly what I was going to be looking for! I found the coziest sherpa throw for only $15!! Perfect for these super chilly days we’ve been having in Austin!

Steven got really lucky and got to enjoy his Christmas blanket a little early. That sherpa has quickly become his favorite so of course I hauled butt back to Tuesday Morning and bought another one for his crate!

For those of y’all that don’t know, Steven has an uncanny resemblance to a Star Wars character. He’s very well known for looking like Chewbacca or an Ewok so you can imagine the amount of Star Wars toys we have all over the house. As I was browsing the toy section, which I may add is HUGE, I found the biggest Chewy toy I have ever seen!! Expecting it to be over $100, I looked at the tag in total shock. $30. Y’all, he his giant. Of course, I bought that for Steven too.

Now, for my husband, Grayson – His present was to not having to go shopping with me. I have tricked him so many times saying, oh, we’ll only be gone an hour… And 6 hours later we’re still full force shopping. So, that was the greatest gift he could have ever received!

But really, I ended up getting him some hot cocoa mix because we absolutely love sitting outside by the fire pit enjoying a cup of hot chocolate. I really love getting gifts for him that we can spend time together enjoying.

I also needed to look for a little something for my assistant, Bailey. Tuesday Morning had the cutest hot cocoa sets with mugs that said Bailey’s on them. You literally have everything you need to make the tastiest hot cocoa and all you have to do is add a little Bailey’s and you’re good to go! Such a cute gift idea for anyone and it was only $7. I obviously, snagged a couple of those!

And then there are always those friends and family that you just need a little something extra for during the holidays. I always like having back-up gifts just in case something gifts you something. That way you’re prepared with something universal for everyone. My favorite thing to gift in these cases are either candles, home decor, food, food, or food.

I think I ended up spending half an hour in the food section in Tuesday Morning. The customers in that store probably thought I was insane. I would walk to the next display and yell out, OH MY GOSH, this is SO CUTE!!!! Literally, in every single Instagram Story I say something is so cute. I almost suggested to make it a drinking game at that point. Take a drink every time you hear the word cute! On a more serious note, all of the hot cocoa sets were adorable and so affordable. They had some little hot cocoa sets that came with little shovels!

My absolute favorite was the pre-packaged soup mixes. I don’t know about y’all but when it’s super chilly outside all I want to do is make some warm soup and snuggle up on the couch. These soup mixes come in a ton of different flavors and they had some adorable holiday bowls that would be the perfect soup accessory. This was another gift I ended up getting for Grayson too.

Ok, I can’t forget about Tuesday Morning gifts for kids! I didn’t end up getting any children’s gifts because we don’t have kids and the people I am shopping for don’t have kids either. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to rave about the kid’s section. Tuesday Morning had such an array of kid’s gifts for every single age. I feel like at least ¼ of the store was dedication to kids which I thought was amazing. Not only did they have extremely well known brands at phenomenal prices, they had the coolest educational gifts that brought back so many memories of my childhood.

They even had one of those crazy cool cars that I had always wanted as a child. I wanted one of those badass kid’s Jeeps and never got one… Mainly because they are around $400 and way overpriced. But get this… Tuesday Morning had a sweet Batmobile looking car that was HUGE and only $100!! I even told Grayson and showed him the video and he was like No way that is only $100!

I also found some really adorable milk jugs and cookie trays if you and your family leave out cookies and milk for Santa!

And don’t forget… We all have to wrap our gifts too! Tuesday Morning sells everything you could possibly need for gift wrapping, boxing, bagging, stuffing, tagging and so much more! I’m not even joking when I say they are a one stop shop for everything! You can even get furniture to gift if you’re trying to be a suck up.

Tuesday Morning literally has anything and everything for everyone you could possibly shop for, along with goodies for children and pets. Every single person on my list is completely different in their tastes and passions in life. After spending a little under 2 hours in the store I had found a slew of gifts for everyone on my list, plus some! I was WAY under my budget too. Like I said above, I filled up 5 huge Tuesday Morning bags and got a giant Chewy for under $300. Literally, shocked.

If you’re like me and want some fun, different gifts and don’t want to spend an arm and leg or half your life shopping, you have to check them out. They have been one of my favorites for years and I am so excited to be working with them for the holidays!

I LOVE how you’ve planned a list that includes each individual’s wants and needs. I never want to buy something for someone that won’t get used. This is a great way to ensure that your gift serves a true purpose in their life. Keep up the great work, girl!
