How is it almost December??? Does anyone else feel like this year flew by? It is still crazy to me that the Texas weather is STILL in the 70s and 80s! Thankfully, we are having a bit of a cold front right now, but seriously, we have to bundle up in the morning and mega layer for the 80 degree temps midday! Where is my winter, Texas?! Lucky for me, the highs are in the 60s today so I got to bundle up a little!
If y’all haven’t noticed by quite a few of my pics lately, I have been obsessing over ponchos and capes. For me, they are perfect for layering and I can easily wear something light weight underneath. This grey poncho has been one of my favorite layering pieces for Fall. Not only is it mega cozy but it has the best details too! One thing that sold me on this piece was the gorgeous knit and fringe detailing. If I am going to keep things pretty basic everywhere else, I need some details to pop!
This poncho, along with half of my winter wardrobe came from Grace & Lace. If y’all aren’t familiar, they were on Shark Tank, struck a deal with Barbara and have been killing it ever since! I did some modeling for them last year and fell in love with Melissa, the line and their amazing message – Made with His grace and a little lace.
If you’re a fan of blanket scarves (I mean, who’s not?!) then they are going to be your new favorite! I’m seriously so excited for the temps to drop low enough where I can pull out all of my scarves and cozy up!! I’ve made a shoppable scroller of some of my favorite scarves that are reasonably priced and perfect for these winter temps!
