{Transitional White Lace Top for Fall}

{Transitional White Lace Top for Fall}

I apologize in advance for the mass amount of photos in this post. Do you ever shoot way too many pictures of an outfit and you literally just can’t choose? That was definitely the case with this gorgeous white lace top from Chicwish. I wore this a couple weekends ago to brunch at the cutest restaurant in Austin, Rosewood. Right when I put it on I knew it was going to be a favorite of mine, even going into Fall. I had my friend take a few snaps at the restaurant before we left but figured I should actually shoot some real pics for the blog so y’all can see the gorgeous detailing on this white lace top.

I had this outfit scheduled to shoot over a week ago but instead took a much needed weeklong break from everything blog related. Sometimes you just need to take a step back, refocus and relax a little. Let me tell you, that relaxing break wasn’t relaxing in the least bit. We were overly productive around the house last 3-4 days. There were projects we had been wanting to start weeks ago that we never got around to so we made that a priority.

Totally not fashion related, but what happened on Friday is just so ridiculous. If you’ve watched some of my Stories y’all know that I love mowing the yard. I wanted to get everything mowed before the rain started Saturday so I got right to it. After I finished mowing I figured I would pull some weeds. I’m a lazy mower and don’t bag my grass in the front so there were tons of grass clippings covering the flower beds. I’m on a roll, pulling weeds, not paying attention and I grab something that stabs my hand all over. I look down, immediately look up at Grayson and he goes, did you just grab that cactus? 😑  FML. Cue the cuss words and staring down in disbelief at the hundreds of tiny needles sticking out of my entire hand. Needless to say, I spent hours hand picking needles out of my hand with tweezers on a Friday night. Fun stuff.

Now, on to the entire reason I am posting this… The white lace top! I just got this beauty in last week and was so excited to wear it out. My favorite part about this top is that it is a perfect transitional top to get you into Fall. My other favorite part is the fact that it is super long. I hate wearing skinny jeans or leggings if I don’t have something covering my crotch and butt. I know I’m not the only one! This top is on the longer side so it was a little tough to wear with shorts. You almost couldn’t tell I was wearing shorts so I opted for denim and heels to dress it up a little more. Sizing wise, this top does run true to size. I am wearing a size small for reference and it fits perfectly.

One thing I didn’t expect was this top to be so sheer. Be prepared to have a set of pasties or a strapless bra/bandeau to wear. It is lined but the lace overlay is lace cutouts so you really only have that sheer lining covering your lady parts. That was the only downside I saw to this white lace top but other than that, it is my new favorite!

    Such a gorgeous top! White is definitely your color. Unfortunately I have accidentally pet a cactus so I feel your pain on that one. I completely agree that a top should be longer with really skinny jeans.

    What a gorgeous top! I’m also so excited for fall weather, leggings and cozy times. I try to only wear tops that cover my behind when wearing leggings and such in the fall, too 🙂
