Does anyone else consider themselves a sweater hoarder? When the slightest hint of a chill hits Austin I am all over the internet stocking up on cozy sweaters like they’re going out of style. The problem is that all of my sweaters start looking the same! I am someone who absolutely loves neutrals which means I have an overstock of grey, black and ivory sweaters in my closet. I’ve now started looking for sweaters that have fun detailing on them. These super cute and cozy heart sweaters from Chicwish have been perfect to add to my collection!

These cozy sweaters are such a great staple for the Fall and Winter and make amazing gifts. They just come in so many different colors and styles it’s hard to not stock up! AND they come in kids!! Now you can match with your little one! (I’ve linked the kids options below in the scroller) Mommy and me sweaters are all the rage this season!
I don’t know about y’all but I love a good versatile sweater than I can mix and match with any kind of look. The one thing I hate is being limited to wearing a piece of clothing only one way. My wardrobe is more of a capsule collection which means I need to easily be able to mix and match anything and everything I own. Not only will this skirt with with jeans but it works amazing with leggings or even mini skirts! Yes, you can totally wear mini skirts in the Fall! I actually think they are cuter in the Fall than Summer!
I decided to pair this sweater with a suede mini skirt and OTK boots and it worked really well! The fit was absolutely perfect for this look. I would definitely wear this with a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans and heels or over the knee boots for a more casual vibe. This sweater is just so versatile, I want them all!
Let’s talk about sizing on these sweaters. I am wearing the small in the heart sweater in this post but was thinking I should have sized up to a medium. As most of y’all know I have a really long torso and this sweater was a little short on me. If you are in the same boat I would highly suggest wearing high-waisted bottoms with this particular heart sweater. I had tried it on with a pair of medium-rise denim and it was almost a crop top on me. Fear not, if you have a normal torso (I’m jealous) then you should just stick to your normal size.
I actually bought the cardigan (shown in the collage) last year and wore it non-stop! The knotted heart details just give it that extra fun detail that stands out above the rest. I have been eyeing the turtleneck too! It would be so cute with skinny jeans and a pair of OTK boots or heels for a chic winter look!
