If any of y’all missed my try-on session on Instagram Stories Sunday afternoon, you’re in luck! I know a lot of y’all don’t always see my Instagram posts or Stories so I wanted to get everything organized in one blog post. These are always a great resource for those of y’all who want to know more details about sizing and fit. This try-on session was all about the sweaters and cardigans that are still in stock (for the most part) on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
I haven broken down this entire try-on session with sizing information, fit, quality, price, designer, etc. These are pieces that I personally purchased and wanted to share my thoughts on each. I’m hoping the majority of these are still in stock! Everything has been selling out so unbelievably fast so I apologize if something is already gone in your size!

I’m sure by now most of you guys are familiar with Barefoot Dreams. Their products are some of the softest pieces I have ever felt. It just makes you want to get all wrapped up in that cozy goodness! This cardigan is more on the oversized side and only comes in 2 sizes; Small/Medium and Large/XL. I am wearing the Small/Medium and it still fits pretty large but I love oversized cardigans. It currently fully stocked and comes in 4 colors. I opted for the Almond shade as it will go with any color palette you choose to wear. Price at just $88 from $134, this is a great deal!
This Barefoot Dreams wrap is a one-size fits all piece. I saw this wrap online and knew that it would be so fabulous for Fall. The weather does get chillier here but this is a perfect transitional piece. There are arm holes for a better fit. Sadly, the navy/white color has already sold out but honestly, the grey and ivory is my favorite. It is priced at just $80 from $121 which is a great deal. Barefoot Dreams rarely go on sale so take advantage before this wrap sells out too!
This Current/Elliott star tank was one of my most worn purchases from last year. Chances are if you saw me anytime last summer I was in the same tank top, cutoff shorts and flip flops. I was absolutely thrilled to see this top on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It was a piece I never thought would be on the NSALE. If you aren’t familiar with Current/Elliott their sizing is different than most. I am wearing a size 1 which equates to a 2/4. This tank retails for $128 (which is what I paid) and is on sale for $84. I know this is still high for a tank but I literally got my money’s worth! It looks great with shorts and can easily transition into Fall and Winter to wear with jeans.
You can obviously tell this look is my absolute favorite. I couldn’t narrow the photos down so y’all get all 4. I purchased this cardigan last year from Zappos after it sold out at Nordstrom multiple times. All I knew is that I just had to have it and I am beyond happy I found it in stock somewhere. Thankfully, this cardigan is still in stock on the Nordstrom site AND it’s on sale! I am wearing the XS/S and it also comes in a M/L. It is supposed to be oversized and cozy. What I love so much about this piece is that it is extremely breathable so I can throw it on in the summer with shorts and be good to go if we go somewhere chilly. Retail is $148 and it is on sale for $98! Seriously, such a steal! It also comes in 3 colors!
I spotted this sweater when I went into the Austin Nordstrom for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale preview. It was something that caught my eye immediately! I then saw it was Halogen and knew that it was going to be a steal! How impossible is it to find a great cashmere sweater under $100?? Nearly impossible. Halogen has so many amazing cashmere pieces this NSALE. You better believe I stocked up. What I love most about this sweater is that it is extremely lightweight and breathable. If you live in Texas you will love this sweater. Sadly, the grey is almost sold out. There are L, XL and XXL left but the other shades are fully stocked. Did I mention there are 6 other colors!?
This was the only thing I purchased that I was iffy about but purchased it anyway because I knew it would sell out quick. I tried it on and literally wore it around the house the rest of the day! Grayson came home and was like, you know it’s 105 outside… I’m telling you, it is that good! This sweatshirt does run a little large. I bought a size small and it is still pretty oversized for me. I would recommend sizing down if you don’t like the oversized feel. It is priced at just $58 from $89!
This look is one of my favorite combos when Fall rolls around. If y’all aren’t familiar with the Leith dresses, listen up. These dresses are not on the sale but they are only $55 and come in a multitude of colors. 12 of them to be exact. I currently own 6 of these if that tells you anything. Not only do I wear these in the summer but I also pair them with OTK boots and cardigans/coats in the Fall. These dresses also come in long sleeve versions too! For reference, I am wearing a size small.
Let’s talk about this cardigan. It is definitely an oversized fit so I suggest sizing down. I am wearing a size 2 and it is still a little big on me. That is the look and style of this cardigan though; comfy and cozy. It is fully stocked in all sizes and is under $50.
Could my mirror be any dirtier?? I even tried cleaning it before I did this try-on session! As I said in my Stories, this cardigan is definitely a splurge piece but 100% worth it. I always stock up on a Vince cashmere piece each and every Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that rolls around. Not only will they last you season after season but they are timeless pieces. This cardigan also comes in a light grey which I have been considering buying too. These are pieces I wear over and over again during the Fall and Winter. They do run a little large so I suggest sizing down. I am wearing an XS if that helps.
This sweater is selling out fast and for good reason! I always love a good cable knit sweater but it is nearly impossible to find a stylish one! This sweater definitely hits the nail on the head with comfort and stylishness. I obviously love the fact that it is cashmere but that means it isa splurge piece. To me, it is definitely worth it. This piece is such a classic that you can wear with practically anything; jeans, skirts, coats, OTK boots, booties, heels, etc. You can easily dress this sweater up or down so it is extremely versatile. I am wearing a size medium solely because I like an oversized, cozy fit. The size small is sold out but there are M, L and XL left.
Last but not least is another Vince favorite. This sweater is also made of cashmere but it is literally the softest cashmere I have ever felt. I’m not even joking either. SO SOFT. I am also wearing a size medium in this piece as well. It is full stocked in all sizes XS to XL. If you are planning on investing in specific pieces for your wardrobe this Fall I highly recommend any of the Vince cashmere pieces. Just make sure to store your cashmere where the moths can’t eat them. There’s nothing worse than finding massive holes in your sweaters after you haven’t worn them for months.
