{How to Minimize Your Pores with Clarins Pore Control}

From a very young age I can remember always being in my mom’s bathroom oogling her make-up and beauty products. I would always ask what each thing was for and wonder how she put her make-up on. It’s pretty ironic now that I think about it considering I had absolutely no desire to wear any cosmetics until I was in high school. I also didn’t even get into beauty products until my late 20s. If I could tell my younger self one thing it would have been to wear sunscreen and use a moisturizer!!

Clarins Pore Control:

During those fun mom and daughter pow-wows I always remember her telling me that I got her pores. I didn’t really know what that meant at the time. She would always try and show me that she had larger pores and every woman in our family had the same skin. Still, I never really knew what that meant until I got older.

Personally, I absolutely love having larger pores. My face doesn’t get dry as quickly and it is a little on the oilier side which I have found prevents more of those fine lines and wrinkles. The only downside I’ve found to having larger pores is when I’m applying make-up or after I’ve had a full face of make-up all day.

I absolutely hate the fact that my make-up sinks into my large pores! That’s one of the only things I notice. I’ve used some primers to try and combat this issue but they ended up clogging my pores. I quickly stopped using those and started doing more research on products that specialize on skin with bigger pores.

As most of y’all know by now I have been using Clarins products over the last year or so. I had heard about their products and would always see them in stores and just never tried them out. It’s that younger me that always thinks Nah, you don’t need that… Your skin is fine. Turned out I just really needed to find products that had proven results. Long story short, I’ve found such a variety of Clarins products that I’ve seen significant results from and couldn’t be happier.

Sure enough, when I was doing my extensive pore research I came across Clarins Pore Control Serum. My excitement was through the roof finding a product that specialized in pore control from one of my favorite skincare brands. The details almost sounded too good to be true for this skincare skeptic. But when I tried it, I was BLOWN AWAY!

This Clarins Pore Control Serum is an instant perfector. It is made with firming Vine Flower cells and Organic Strawberry Tree fruit extracts that instantly mattify your skin. This product visibly tightens your enlarged pores so they look near invisible. There is a natural exfoliant called Tamarind pulp acid that gently clears pore-clogging debris to help smooth your skin. Tamarind also refines your skin’s texture to give you a boost of radiance.

This serum also has something called the “blur effect” texture that contains mattifying powders and light-enhancing pigments. All of these combined visibly minimize your skin’s pores to give a smooth, radiant, shine-free look. I’m always worried that these products are going to either clog my pores, make my skin oily or even shinier than it already is but I was pleasantly surprised with this product.

The Clarins Pore Control Serum has such a simple application process too. Being so low maintenance with skincare I need something that isn’t going to add a ton of time to my already tight morning routine. I normally use this product in the morning after I wash my face. Remember to always bring your skincare products to skin temperature. Just warm between your palms or finger tips so that your skin accepts the product instantly. Simply smooth all over your face with the flat parts of your hands and then follow with your moisturizer.

It is so easy and has really made all of the difference in my make-up application. I seriously feel like I have a permanent Snapchat filter on my face at all times. Okay, okay that’s a little over dramatic but I’m not even joking… My skin looks so smooth in person and in photos! Talk about having better skin self confidence in my 30s now!

Give this product at least 28 days to see the best results.
