Who’s ready to throw it back to the 90s?! I had a BLAST partnering with Express to show y’all their new 90s trend collection. Think bodysuits, crop tops and high waisted shorts! I do have to admit, the whole 90s trend making a come back makes me feel super old!! This is the kinda stuff I was wearing as a teenager!! And it’s already made a comeback!

As we all know, history tends to repeat itself in the fashion industry and the 90s make no exception in this case! Literally, what comes around goes around! I’m sure you’re all wondering how we’re all supposed to accurately pull off a chic and stylish version of the 90s trend… I wondered that too! I also wondered why in the world 90s style would make a comeback!

When I think of 90s style, I think back to when I was a super fit teenager that had the body to sport skimpy crop tops and high waisted shorts that didn’t accentuate my ever growing cellulite on my thighs. Man, life was different back then! Our 2016 fashion goal is to recreate 90s garb in a modern and updated way. And, surprisingly, it’s a lot easier than you think!

I stopped by Express to check out the different types of 90s style clothing I had to choose from, and I was pleasantly surprised! Not only are things MUCH cuter now than they were back then, but things are designed and cut in a more modern way that most people can easily pull off this emerging trend. I was never a major fan of bodysuits because of my long torso… And back in the day body suits were cut so small and made for people with super short torsos! Every single bodysuit I tried at Express fit like a glove and was beyond comfy! If you’re wanting to try this look but aren’t 100% sure it’s for you, go check out Express and try and few options on! One way to be confident in this style is the, I’m way too cool to care attitude! That’s the mindset I put myself in to test out a fun, newish trend and ended up falling in love all over again! I know this style isn’t for the majority of people out there but I am a huge fan!
