Am I the only one that only would rather have forever pieces for the holidays? If you’re anything like me you want a gift that is going to last an eternity. Something you could even pass on to your children or grandchildren. I still have almost all of the designer gifts I’ve received over the years and cherish every single piece! I’m also extremely hard to shop for so you can never go wrong with an investment piece. I always feel like I’m the crazy one that wants absolutely nothing for Christmas or my birthday because I’m not one that likes stuff unless its REALLY good stuff. 😂 Please tell me I’m not the only one that loves being a minimalist?!
This designer gifts guide is one of my first gift guides of the season and I am so excited to share a few of my favorite things with you all! I rounded up some of my must-have, splurge-worthy items that I think y’all will love! I can’t wait to tell you guys why I love each and every one of these pieces so much. Just click an item in the collage below and it will take you to the item to shop.
Here are some tips and tricks on buying designer items, plus why I love each piece I listed above.
Let’s start with the Cartier watch. From my teen years I have had a love for designer gifts and especially watches. Don’t ask me why but I would save and save for my cars and watches. I had been wanting this watch for years and finally took the plunge and bought it earlier this year. You may be thinking, How can you afford that? If you’re in the market for designer watches or jewelry look for gently used or new pieces at consignment shops. I found this watch for thousands of dollars off at True Facet. Places like this are always running sales and deals so you can get an even better deal.
Everyone reading this post has probably heard of David Yurman. I was introduced to this stunning jewelry when I was in high school and have been obsessed ever since. DY is an iconic brand that will never go out of style. It will complement any look whether it be casual or dressy. Thankfully, their jewelry comes at all price points so these are designer gifts that all budgets can afford.
If you’ve been following me this year you will know that I am in love with CamiNYC tops. These lace up tops were all the rage and my best selling items this year! Not only can you wear these designer gifts backwards but they can be worn during any season.
All of the Gucci designer gifts and goodies need no explanation. If you’ve been following any blogger this year you definitely know that the demand was and still is high for anything Gucci. I was on a wait list for months and months trying to get my hands on one of those GG belts! They were selling out in mere seconds. The Gucci bags are just as hot this season. Do you all remember when every single blogger had the same exact bag? I was one of those and actually wrote an informative post on sizing of said bag.
Every chic gal needs a pair of designer sunnies. Unless you lose them frequently, then you need cheapies!! I have literally been wearing the same Gucci shades for about 3-4 years now. People always try and tell me to get a new pair of sunglasses but they are so perfect!! I finally made the jump and bought the pair of YSL‘s in the collage and LOVE them! Sunglasses make one of the best designer gifts stocking stuffers too!
Stuart Weitzman. Swoon. Their OTKs are and have been an iconic fashion statement for years. From personal experience, they are well worth the splurge and will last you season after season. They also come in TONS of new colors and fabrics this Fall.
All of you guys out there, listen up! This designer gifts post is for you too because holidays are right around the corner. You don’t want to wait til the last minute to get that special lady something special, do you? This guide is a great place to start getting ideas! Whether you’re shopping for someone picky or if you just want to wow her, these pieces are perfect.
I love anything my husband gets me but we’re at the point that stuff just isn’t as special. We want things that we can do together or something creative or even something he went in and picked out himself that he knew I’d love. It doesn’t have to be expensive all the time but I know some of us ladies have expensive taste! 🙂
