{T3 Twirl 360 How-To}

Hey everyone!! I wanted to share a quick tutorial with everyone on how to use the new T3 Twirl 360! As most of you know, I don’t ever curl my hair but fell in love with this curler that I had to test it out and give everyone a quick how-to! I’ve also never used an iron that literally spins itself! This curling iron utilizes gyroscopic digital technology to detect the motion of your hand, and automatically propel the barrel in the desired direction. The application of the technology, typically used in space exploration, is a first for the hair tools category. Pretty awesome, if you ask me! Keep an eye out for a Youtube tutorial soon! For now, you get photos! Here is a quick start guide for those of you who have never used this curler before. There will be photos but if you’re in a hurry and want to test the curler out without photos, then this should be helpful!

First, Click the power & Temperature switch quickly to use on Slow speed or hold down switch for fast speed. To change temps, double click the switch until you reach your desired setting.

Second, Clamp a 1-2″ section of hair and glide the iron to the ends. Then hold the GO button down and gently rate your wrist in the direction to activate the rotating barrel. It’s so cool because it literally knows which direction you are wanting to curl your hair!

Lastly, take your finger off the GO button to stop rotation. After a few seconds, press the Lever to release the curl. And on to the next piece!

Alrighty, ladies!! Ready to get this started!

First, section off your hair. Start with the bottom layer and work your way up in about 4 sections (depending on how thick your hair is)

The T3 curler is the best! I normally use a 1 to 1 1/2 inch barrel for my beachy waves look.

Product is key to helping your curls stay all day! I love Oribe Soft Laquer Heat Styling Spray.

Once you get to the crown section of the hair, lightly tease for volume. For extra volume, use Oribe Thickening Spray on each section.

For an “undone” look:
After curling, run your fingers throughout your hair gently (don’t brush!) to tousle the curls into more of an “undone” look
If you want even less curl (more wave), flip your head to reach underneath the hair, spray a texturizing spray all throughout and tousle with your fingers. I like Batiste Dry Shampoo

Want to add a Braid?
A trendy look that’s super stylish– braids are all the rage.
Section off a 2-3 inch piece in the front. I prefer the part to be uneven, but you can go with what you think looks best on YOU!Divide that section and braid. We did a traditional braid on my hair!

Braid and braid until you reach the end of the hair.
Secure it with 2 bobby pins. Insert the pins – rough side toward your head- and criss cross them to lock them in place!

You can leave your hair down with this look or pull it back in a ponytail! Don’t forget to top with a spritz of hairspray for extra hold.
