Who else is jonesing for some warm weather? Austin is finally in the upper 60s and I am so excited to start layering with some of my new Spring pieces. I don’t know about y’all but as I soon as I get the slightest glimpse of warmer weather I am stocking up on cutoff shorts and tank tops! Thankfully in Texas summer should be right around the corner! In the meantime, I wanted to share some of my must have wardrobe staples to get you transitioning into Spring and Summer.
SPRING WARDROBE STAPLES
It’s really important to get the most bang for your buck when finding transitional pieces. I always look for items that I can wear season after season. Whether it is layering a tank top or throwing on a cardigan, all of these pieces can be worn in any temp.
Of course, layering is an absolute must when thinking about transitioning into another season. Since our Texas weather is so insane I ALWAYS have a cardigan and a beanie with me. Literally, at all times. I had seen quite a few bloggers wearing this cardigan and finally pulled the trigger and bought it for myself. Everyone made it look so damn cute that I had FOMO… Talk about cutest cardi ever! You think I’m kidding. I wear this thing ALL the time and it has the CUTEST hearts all over it. Does anyone else ever find a piece of clothing that fits absolutely perfect you buy it in every single color? I know I can’t be the only one. It’s like I get extra excited when I know I can stock up. That sounds like I’m a hoarder… But ladies, you know what I’m talking about! I’ve linked ALL of the adult cardigan options below!
Another one of my favorite wardrobe staples that I highly recommend are the lace-up tops from CamiNYC. If y’all have been following me for a while I guarantee you have seen me in these tanks. I wear them constantly and own about 10 of the same style in different colors. These tops have definitely become a must-have staple in my wardrobe, even in the Fall.
Obviously, finding the perfect pair of skinny jeans is a must. I’ve been living in these skinny jeans from Mott & Bow. Let me just tell you… They are a nightmare to get on (maybe it’s my soccer legs that make it tough) but once they are on they are a dream! They do run true to size and keep their fit even after wearing them. You don’t have to worry about anything stretching out or fading either.
Last but not least, finding that perfect leather handbag can be a challenge. I know… I’m the pickiest handbag shopper. I picked up this Henri Bendel tote earlier this month and am wearing it with every outfit. Why? The color is perfect for Spring/Summer and can also get you through the rest of the cooler months.

I feel like I need to get into the beanie game. I only own one and it’s a super old Neff beanie I got in high school haha. I guess I just don’t love the way they look on me, but once my hair is a bit longer and fuller, maybe I’ll enjoy them! They look so cute on you!
