Staying healthy has become a top priority in my life. Not only with eating healthy and exercising but even the products I am putting on my skin. I briefly touched on these details in a recent post but I wanted to reiterate the facts. Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies that absorbs over 60% of what we put on. This means all of our skincare, soaps, make-up, lotions, etc. are all soaked in to our skin. That is a scary statistic with all of the chemicals and cancer talk lately. If you didn’t know, women put around 515 chemicals on their skin on a daily basis without even knowing it. Most people don’t even know what they are looking for when they glance at the ingredients. We need to be more aware of what we are putting in and on our bodies! So let’s start with skincare.

Before we get into details I want to give you some exciting news! Use code DTKASHLEY for 15% off sitewide + free shipping on orders $30+.

I made a collage of all of the TULA skincare products that I personally own and use on a daily basis. No, I don’t use ALL of these every single day but I use at least 5 of these products each day and use the others each week on and off. Simply click on an image to directly shop the product.

Tula Skincare Product Details:

I apologize in advance for how lengthy this post is going to be but I wanted it to be as informative as possible. Over the past couple of years I have tried to ditch some of my harmful products and replace them with more all natural skincare products. I am definitely not one of those people who swears to only use all natural products. But I am one of those people who will take it one step at a time and slowly transition my life to be healthier and more knowledgeable about the products I use.

I first heard about TULA skincare skincare 5 years ago when I started following a few beauty blogs. I immediately knew this was something I had to try out for myself. Being in my 30s, skincare has been something I’ve been focusing on more and more. Not only are the wrinkles showing up faster and faster but I have been suffering from really awful hyper-pigmentation on my face that just seems to get worse by the day. I was using some really harmful products on my skin and quickly realized I needed to try something natural.

TULA means balance in Sanskrit. Their main mission is to help women feel more balanced, beautiful, and confident through their products and community. TULA Founder, Dr. Raj, discovered that probiotics and other superfoods could help naturally balance and boost the health of the skin and that’s how TULA got started. They combine probiotics with carefully curated, clean, clinically-proven, high-quality ingredients like AHAs, antioxidants and retinols to ensure their products are safe and effective.

Take it from me… These products are 100% beneficial and worth trying over so many over the counter and designer beauty brands. TULA is also great for any and all ages. If I could give my younger self any advice it would be to start taking care of my skin early on.

Below, you will find a comprehensive list of my go-to TULA products with info on why I personally love each product and how I use each one.

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products | the best skincare products for women || Dressed to Kill #skincare #tula #beauty #womensbeauty #beautyproducts #dtkaustin - My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillThis is the first ever TULA skincare product I ever tried. Let’s just say I fell in love because I am still using it religiously to this day. I normally wash my face with this cleanser in the morning and before bed each and every day. If I’m working from home I will normally wash my face a few times over the course of the day. Because who likes having a greasy face… Not me!

This product is amazing because it works for any and all skin types. My skin is on the oilier side and love the way this cleanser makes my skin feel afterwards. If you are sensitive to scents in skincare like I am then these products are for you. Every single product is lightly scented and isn’t overwhelming whatsoever. It was love at first smell!

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products | the best skincare products for women || Dressed to Kill #skincare #tula #beauty #womensbeauty #beautyproducts #dtkaustin - My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillThis Illuminating Serum was must try when I first heard about TULA. Over the past 3-4 years I’ve had a very fast spreading batch of melasma (hyper-pigmentation) on my forehead. And when I say fast spreading, I mean it went from the size of an eraser to covering my entire forehead in a matter of 2 years. It is so embarrassing and so hard to control so I have been desperate to find products that will combat this growing issue. I’ve been using the Illuminating Serum to brighten my skin where the melasma is. This serum is not going to stop the problem but it will lighten the skin up naturally instead of with harsh chemicals.

I normally put this on after I cleanse morning and night prior to my moisturizer, which we will talk about next. If you are also suffering from something similar, I definitely suggest trying this and purchasing a micro-needler. Micro-needling helps regenerate skin cells that will slowly push the hyper-pigmentation out. Then you just add your serum and moisturizer on after you’re finished micro-needling. Sadly, I don’t think there is a way to completely get rid of melasma but there are ways to slow it down and fade it.

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products | the best skincare products for women || Dressed to Kill #skincare #tula #beauty #womensbeauty #beautyproducts #dtkaustin - My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillMy other favorite TULA product! These three first products are things that I first started out using. Before I forget… If you are unsure about any of these products TULA does make starter kits so you can test out smaller sizes to see if you like them. This Hydrating cream is a must for morning and night. I put this on after in the morning after I cleanse and after I apply my serums. In the evening I will put this on after I micro-needle and after my serums go on. This cream is definitely like it sounds; very hydrating. It’s not overly hydrating though and has never made my face feel overly oily. Another plus is that this jar seems to last forever so it is definitely worth your hard earned money!

I really got into masks a couple of years ago when one of my clients would order them in bulk from Amazon. You know, those crazy Chinese masks that you can’t read! The results I was seeing from a simple sheet mask were amazing so I started adding in more clay and peel off masks. Now I am absolutely hooked.

This TULA clay mask has been one of my most used masks that I have ever purchased. I don’t know why but I feel like clay masks work way better than anything else. Maybe because it’s so tight on your face once it dries… It’s pulling out all of those impurities?! Either way, I am in love. This clay mask is also an exfoliant so its like two products in one. I normally use this mask while I am taking a bath every other night.

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products | the best skincare products for women || Dressed to Kill #skincare #tula #beauty #womensbeauty #beautyproducts #dtkaustin - My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillThis Eye Renewal Serum is a must have if you’re not currently using an eye serum by now. The eyes are one of the toughest areas to see results. I’ve suggested quite a few all natural products to friends and family that have been disappointed by eye creams in the past. Most are tired of all natural products not working and they were going to resort to surgery and/or products packed with chemicals. If your all natural products aren’t working then you’re using the wrong types.

I always recommend using a serum as well as an eye cream packed with caffeine and natural extracts. This serum is a favorite of mine because it comes with a metal tip that cools the skin when applying. Most serums and eye creams don’t have these metal pieces which means you would need a cooling eye roller in addition. I use this serum in the morning before I apply my eye cream and at night before I put on my moisturizer.

Here is a little more info if you’re not familiar with serums and why you should be using them. Serums allow for layering skincare products so you can increase the treatment potential of your eye cream. Use a serum first for the skin to quickly absorb the powerful anti-aging formula and then follow up with eye cream for an all-day hydration.

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products | the best skincare products for women || Dressed to Kill #skincare #tula #beauty #womensbeauty #beautyproducts #dtkaustin - My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillThis is one of TULA’s newer products that I haven’t been using as long as the others. I started using this Resurfacing Gel about 6 months ago and love what it has done to the appearance and feel of my skin. I use this product morning and night after cleansing. I will either put it on with my fingers or use a cotton pad.

If you’re like me then you are kinda clueless on what this product actually does. This is essentially an alcohol-free toner that uses probiotics, glycolic acid, and beetroot extract to gently exfoliate the skin. Your skin is left looking smooth, hydrated and more even. I never really understood the point of a toner in the past. This specific toner resurfaces and deep cleans without drying out your skin.

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products | the best skincare products for women || Dressed to Kill #skincare #tula #beauty #womensbeauty #beautyproducts #dtkaustin - My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillThis gel cream is literally a glass of water for dry skin. It leaves skin quenched, dewy and revived in a weightless, oil-free texture. If you are more prone to dry skin then I highly suggest this product. I have combination skin and use this cream on my dry spots. This cream has also worked wonders after I micro-needle. Micro-needling will leave you skin dry and peeling in some areas dependent on usage. I will also put this cream on the spots that are prone to being dry at night after I cleanse and in the morning before my moisturizer but after my serum.

I have only been using this product for about 6 months and really love how hydrated my dry spots have become in such a short amount of time. I am super sensitive to greasy and oily feeling products and this ends up feeling matte and dry after application. It is 100% oil free too!

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products | the best skincare products for women || Dressed to Kill #skincare #tula #beauty #womensbeauty #beautyproducts #dtkaustin - My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillThis is a product I am super excited for! I just got this in my order a few days ago. Even though I haven’t used these treatment pads I wanted to give a rundown on what they actually do and why I am so excited to use them.

The treatment pads are literally like a facial in your pocket. Seriously, though. You can take these on the go and use them anywhere! All you do is glide the white/smooth side of the pad over your entire face to disperse activating serum and natural plant fibers. Then you flip the pad to the baby blue, textured side and massage gently for 1-2 minutes to exfoliate. Rinse with water and reveal baby smooth, soft and radiant skin. Use 1-2 times per week.

Doesn’t that sound amazing?! I am going to try these out tonight and will come back and update y’all on what I think! Just so y’all now though, these pads are products I have been wanting to try since they were released.

My Must Have Tula Skincare Products and 20% off coupon code featured by popular Austin beauty blogger, Dressed to KillAll of the TULA Kefir products are out of this world amazing. When I first heard TULA talk about Kefir I was like WTF is that?? If you’re in the same boat let me give you some info on what Kefir is and how it benefits our skin. Kefir is a fermented milk drink which dates back to the 1800’s. It’s extremely rich in probiotics, vitamins, and minerals and known for its ability to hydrate and moisturize the skin.

Sounds fancy, right?? Well, all three Kefir products work wonders on your skin.

Kefir Moisture Repair Pressed Serum – This is another product I recommend for dry skin. The serum starts out as a solid but transforms into a velvety state once you start putting on your skin. It is literally the craziest and coolest product. After testing this out for myself over a couple of weeks and reading the testimonials, this is a product you definitely want to try.

Use this serum in place of the other TULA serums. I would not recommend trying to use them all at one time. Use this product as a one-step serum/moisturizer morning and night. For extremely dry, chapped skin, layer on top of moisturizer to seal in hydration.

Kefir Ultimate Recovery Mask – This is another mask I have fallen in love with. All you have to do is apply the mask in a thick layer on clean skin. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. You will feel a gentle cooling sensation to signal the mask is working! You don’t want to wash this off when you are done. Simply use a damp towel and then massage the remaining mask into your skin.

I use this specific mask when I feel like my skin is in need of a good detox. You know those days when you are just sweaty, gross and you feel like you’re about to break out in a mass amount of zits?? Those are the days that I trust this mask to make my skin look and feel refreshed. I normally do these masks after I have been on set for days.

Kefir Replenishing Cleansing Oil – This is essentially a make-up remover on steroids. For years I would use those makeup remover wipes until one of my make-up artist friends said those are bad for your skin! Did you know those things literally stretch out your skin from the rubbing and cause more wrinkles?? No thank you!

I opted for more all natural make-up removers after that conversation. If you’re like me, you are skeptical that this will actually work. There was just something about rubbing a big wipe all over your face that makes you feel so good. Trust me when I say, this cleansing oil is amazing! It is all I use when I am washing my face at the sink.

I’m sure you’re wondering how an oil is going to remove the oils on your face… Get this; oils bind with oils. The ‘good’ oils in this cleanser bind with the ‘bad’ oils on your skin to deeply cleanse and remove impurities. All you do is pump cleanser onto dry hands and massage on your dry face to remove makeup residue and pollutants. Simply rinse with warm water and pat dry. Like I said before, I have oily skin and this does not make my skin oily!
