Is anyone else in full on vacation mode? The travel bug has hit me full force and I have absolutely 0 vacations planned in my near future. First world problems, I know. 🙄  This girl needs a tan on this pasty skin STAT! The summer weather has already hit Austin, TX. That means it’s time to pull out the flip flops, sandals and all the summer goodies! We are already in the upper 70s and 80s! I’m almost scared to think of what our summer weather is going to look like… Definitely into the 100s! In the meantime, while I start dreaming of where I can vacation to, I wanted to share some of my favorite summer staples. FITFLOP SANDALS FOR SUMMER

I know most men and women are on the hunt for the perfect pair of flip flops. My past 3 clients and my husband included have ALL mentioned they need a pair of sandals that are comfortable yet functional at the same time. Each and every client said that they wear their flip flops every day so they have to endure miles of walking.

I recently came across a brand called FitFlop. They are bio mechanically engineered with ergonomic footbeds to ensure that the arch of your foot wouldn’t hurt if you are on your feet all day. I’m used to walking around with extremely flat flip flops and my feet are either dying or blistered on the bottom by the time I get home. Absolutely unacceptable! Of course, I checked FitFlop out on Instagram and saw TONS of consumers raving about them. I ordered a couple of pairs of their flip flops to test out for myself and my clients.

Let me be the first to tell you, FitFlop shoes are amazing! My day-to-day consists of being on my feet all day long, whether if it is prepping for a job, running errands, or even being on set for 12+ hours. I wore these for almost 15 hours a few days ago and my feet felt AMAZING! My lower back wasn’t sore like it would normally be from walking around in flat sandals and my legs weren’t fatigued one bit.

Y’all really have to check out how these FitFlop shoes are made. Just one look at them and you can see they they are going to be comfortable. Even Grayson was like those look insanely comfy; do they make them in men’s!? Even though they are made for Super Women they DO come in men’s styles.

I found the pair that I am wearing in the photos on Zappos. Not only do they have TONS of fun colors but they have some other amazing styles of shoes as well. I ordered myself a pink pair of tennies too. There is literally a shoe for every occasion. I loved this particular sandal/flip flop as it is extremely to wear these dressed up or down. For this look, I wanted to show how perfect they are for an everyday summer look. My go-to outfit during the spring and summer is always a pair of denim shorts and a tank with some flops. So you know I will definitely get my wear out of these.
