I don’t know about y’all but I love coming home to a cozy space. Now that Fall is rolling around in most other places besides Texas, it’s time to start transitioning from Summer to Fall home decor. I’ve already started perusing all of the Fall home decor on Nordstrom online and I am in love. I literally had excitement overload when I found out Nordstrom started selling home goods. This isn’t even new news but a lot of people still have no idea! The last home I owned was decorated floor to ceiling with Nordstrom decor pieces. It was the coziest space I have ever had and am hoping I can make my new home the same!
We are slowly but surely piecing things together. I realize I haven’t really posted much about the house since we moved in and that’s because hardly any of our furniture and decor fit this space. This house is much more open with quite a bit of natural light and a larger floor plan than the last. It’s been a challenge for me to find pieces to fit this space appropriately. It just doesn’t have the cozy vibes like my last home had. The last space was smaller, dark and cozy and this one is light, bright with more space. I’m definitely not complaining! Don’t get me wrong, this house is everything I could have ever wanted but it doesn’t have a fire place, any built-ins or little nooks to make cute and cozy areas.
Literally all of my decor and some of the furniture is being stored in the garage because we have no place for them! I don’t know if y’all remember the last living room had an entire wall of built-ins? We had to buy so much random stuff to fill the space. Now all of that stuff is on my shoe shelves in the garage. Grayson makes so much fun of me because we essentially have a boutique of amazing stuff in the garage… That is totally useless in this house. 😭
I feel like this post is the first real sneak peek into the living room of the new house. It still has a long way to go but you can get an idea of where we’re going with it. I have had so much fun shopping all of the Nordstrom Fall home decor. A little too much fun… Mainly because I want it all and that is definitely not in my budget! What I love about their decor is the price points work for any budget. Yes, some of the pillow and blankets are on the pricier side but use the same cost per wear concept with home decor. You’re obviously not wearing the things but you are using them on a daily basis or they are displayed for years, potentially!
I created a collage of all of my current Nordstrom Fall home decor favorites. Just click on an image to shop the product directly. I had so many fun things in this collage that I had ordered for the house and when I went back to check they were already sold out!! With that being said, don’t wait if you are eyeing something. Especially the quilted and super cozy blankets and pillows. Those go the fastest!
Isn’t everything so perfect for Fall? I went through about 45 pages of Nordstrom decor and wanted to buy all of the Halloween goodies! How are the holidays almost here?? Speaking of holidays… decor sure makes an amazing gift!! I’m secretly writing this in hopes some members of my family happen to stumble upon this post! 😂 I’ll take everything, please.
