The summer is in full swing in Austin and most people are looking for a relaxing staycation getaway. Welcome to the Texas country! Sage Hill Inn Above Onion Creek is a bed and breakfast nestled in the hill country right outside of Austin. For all of you fellow Texans, this is THE new hot spot for a relaxing few days away from the real world.

Sage Hill Inn is home to gorgeous views of rolling hills and with a short hike you are looking over Onion Creek’s flowing water. The property has the most beautiful garden that was perfect for a morning stroll and convenient enough, the garden is right next to the spa! After I enjoyed an overly relaxing massage I lounged in the hammock for literally 3 hours! If 100% relaxation doesn’t sound amazing enough you have plenty of games to keep you occupied. Bocce ball and horseshoes grace the property, so grab a glass of wine and get your game on!

Prior to dinner I snuck away to check out what the library had to offer. This is actually the spot I am having my rehearsal dinner, so it was obviously amazing. 🙂 Really looking forward to showing Grayson’s and my family this hidden gem!

Now, on to details of the rooms! Like I said above, this gorgeous property is a bed and breakfast that is tucked away in the country right outside of Austin. The Inn has five newly remodeled rooms and an award winning restaurant which I talk about a little more below. Sage Hill was actually honored as BedandBreakfast.com’s Top Luxury B&B! So, if you live in or around Austin, take a scenic drive to explore your new favorite Inn!

Alright, let’s talk about this pool! Probably one of the most gorgeous pool views I have ever seen. Views as far as the eye could see! The weather was absolutely perfect for laying out before our early evening dinner. I could have just stayed there ALL day long! Maybe when I come back to visit! 😉

The next morning we woke up early for the BEST home cooked breakfast with such an amazing view! And Surprise! Breakfast is included in the room rate, along with dinner! That yummy breakfast includes fresh eggs, fruits and the tastiest pancakes! You can either serve yourself or order the special that morning. I had an omelette with fresh veggies and homemade vanilla yogurt with honey. You’re also treated to a three-course dinner with specific wine pairings. What amazed me is that most of the ingredients are grown on site or brought in fresh daily. It’s almost entirely farm-to-table right before your eyes. If you’re not staying at the Inn, the dining room is also open to the public with a reservation. I mean, I loved  it so much I am having a private rehearsal dinner in their library!

So, I’m guessing you want a peek into the gorgeous rooms? When I heard I would be staying in the Michaelis King Room I was beyond stoked. I mean, take a look for yourself! I am always a sucker for amazing bath tubs and this one did NOT disappoint! The room was essentially a suite with a living room, bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of room for all of your needs! Want to know what’s even better?? I mean, there’s not much better than a massive tub, BUT there are two porches! One in the front and one right outside the bedroom for those relaxing mornings with your cup of coffee. And before I forget… Let’s have a chat about the bed. Heaven. For real. Deborah, my friend legit bought all of the bedding after her stay!

Whether you live in Austin or not, if you’re looking for a relaxing in the Texas hill country, this is place to stay!

And one last note – If you head out there, be sure to check out the little gift shop for these amazing Theis Raiford products. They are a small batch soap, bath and beauty line based out of Austin, TX. They use local, natural and organic ingredients to create one of a kind products that smell as amazing as they look! I mean, the packaging is even out of this world!
