{Ombre Jeans}

My gosh, what a week it’s been! I just realized I didn’t even do a single post during the last 7 days. Sorry for the major delay in posting, hopefully no one noticed me slacking!! Lately I have been so busy with work and life that the blog and Instagram have definitely taken a hit. With the holidays coming up it’s been more of a challenge to keep up with everything (shooting, posting, interacting, etc.) and still live a healthy life! I know most of y’all know exactly what I’m talking about! But enough of boring, real world stuff, let’s get on to the fashion!

The Fall temps have FINALLY hit Austin, TX and I couldn’t be happier! I know I’ve said it before, but I HATE the heat so I am definitely more than happy for the cooler weather to be here and hopefully stick around. I am all about layers when it comes to our Texas Fall simply because our mornings are so chilly and the afternoons get pretty warm. Layer strategically and you will be all set!

I scored this gorgeous cardigan when I was shopping for one of my Nordstrom partnerships and absolutely fell in love. I think I have worn this thing almost everyday… Literally, if you look at my last few Instagram posts you’ll see what I mean! Cardigans and lightweight sweaters are 2 things I will stock up on for the mild Fall and Winters we have. Β For me, this cardi was perfect because it was a perfect weight; not too heavy but not too light and it is extremely soft!!! I even wear it around the house in my PJs! If you’re in the market for a great neutral cardigan, I would highly suggest looking into this one, as it is going to last you through multiple seasons!

More importantly, how amazing are these ombre jeans??? As a stylist, I am always looking for different types of basics that will stand out in commercials or ads and these have definitely done the trick! And get this, they are under $30!!!! I had to buy a couple pairs for myself… Target does it again! These are high waisted, so I would suggest ordering a size down so they actually suck you in a little! I can already tell these are going to be some of my favorite go-to’s this season!

Let’s talk accessories. Nordstrom has some amazing and affordable scarves right now and I would definitely suggest you start stocking up because they sell out fast!! This little fringe scarf I’m wearing is priced just at $19 and comes in multiple colors. Most of their blanket scarves are priced around $20-$40 and sell out in the blink of an eye. If you’re wondering about quality, let me be the first to say they are made very well for the price point. Yes, they are all still going to snag no matter what the price point, so why waste $$ when you could stock up on a variety for a fraction of the price! I have listed my favorite Nordstrom scarves below!
