Happy Thursday, friends!! Who’s ready for the long weekend? I know, I am! I had so many fun plans to get out and about with friends and family in California but am now sticking around Austin for work. Boo! But on a more positive note, I’ve found another perfect everyday look to share with y’all from Nordstrom!

Can we just stop everything and talk about how fab this dress is? I saw this stunner while I was pulling in the Austin Nordstrom for a shoot and HAD to have it! I literally stopped everything and had to go try it on; it was that good! One of my favorites about this dress is that it has a 100% silk feel but it is 100% polyester AND you can machine wash!! No dry cleaning = a winner in my book. If I’m shopping for summer-wear in Texas I HAVE to be conscious of fabrics and what won’t show sweat easily. Texas ladies, you know exactly what I’m talking about. The struggle is real! And before I forget, one of the most important details we should all be talking about… It’s is ON SALE for 40% during the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale! All sizes are still available too AND it comes in black! Doesn’t get much better than that!

While we’re on the subject of perfect summer looks; lets chat about these lace-up sandals! At just $85, these wedges come in nude and black and are some of the most versatile summer shoes I’ve ever owned. The nude is such a perfect color because with certain outfits you could almost pull them off as blush pink! The cork and lace-up details are such great details to get away from that stuffy, beige look. Head over to the Nordstrom site soon because the nude color is almost sold out!!

Shoes and accessories are easy ways to spruce up any outfit and I definitely think if you’re sticking with a solid dress, like this one you should have some fab accessories to show off! I chose this tassel, statement bracelet from Kendra Scott. I had scored the necklace while I was in Dallas for rStheCon and had to add the bracelet to my collection! I threw on a classic, Tory Burch cross-body to complete the look! To me, this super chic outfit is perfect for a girl’s lunch, date night, vacation outfit, wedding outfit, etc. This entire look is beyond versatile!

And, as I had promised you in the last blog post… I’ve got BIG news!! As most of y’all know Grayson and I got engaged about a year ago in Colombia and literally got so busy with work and life that we never started planning a wedding. SO, we have decided we are FINALLY going to get married this summer in a very small wedding with family. YAY! Definitely looking forward to this next chapter in my life and hoping the second time’s the charm!
