{Portland Dreaming}

Hello, Portland! And hello to a place I never wanted to leave. I flew out there a couple weeks ago to tour LAIKA studios and meet the costume designer on the set of Kubo and the Two Strings. That will be an entirely different post, coming in the next month! I was literally only in Portland for a couple days but made a point to find a photographer to shoot in this gorgeous city before I left. These are some of my most favorite shots I’ve had done in a while! So different and such gorgeous scenery.

It always amazes me when I get the chance to be in a new city that I’ve never been before. I definitely made a point to pack a couple extra outfits to shoot while I was out there since everyone raved about how gorgeous Portland was. And the weather.. OMG. I never wanted to leave.  I found an awesome photog. on Instagram, Joshua, and we immediately hit it off. He knew exactly what I was wanting with my photos and he freakin’ killed it! I love working with new photographers in different places because they always have a different eye for photography which gives my posts that extra edge I love! We don’t want it all looking the same, now do we!?

Anyway, we shot on top of a parking garage in the middle of downtown Portland. Some of the most gorgeous views can be seen from up there and I was blown away. I mean, see for yourself, the photos are AWESOME!! I wanted to shoot this cute, white mini dress from Missguided and thought it would be perfect for the darker surroundings. It definitely pops! And it’s definitely one of the sexiest dresses I have shot! Take a look for yourselves! 🙂

I do think this little number is perfect for summer. It has that little extra edge and sexiness that you could wear out for date night or on vacation. For sure bringing this one on the mini-moon in Scottsdale! I know someone who might like those cutouts! hahaha! I paired a more structured bag with this flirty dress to give it a little more mature vibe. Henri Bendel is one of my favorites when looking for that extra oomph for a look. Their bags are always so gorgeous and will go with anything and everything; casual or dressy. They are one of my all time favorites that I refer to all of my clients!!

I hope you enjoy these Portland shots as much as I do!! Happy 4th of July everyone!
