Hello, Friday! With the beginning of fall slowly creeping around the corner it is time to start bringing out all of your fall staples. Are you kidding me… How is Fall less than 2 months away?! As for me, you’ll see the color black in about 95% of the outfits I’ll be wearing throughout the season. I always say Fall is the time that you’ll see me in ALL black again! For me, it is the season to be rocking as much black as you want without dying in the Texas heat. Maybe wait until November so you don’t die of a heat stroke since our Fall consists of 80 degree weather with absolutely no chance of snow, EVER.
One of my favorite fall items I’ll be wearing is this black faux leather BlankNYC jacket currently on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. Sadly, it sold out in the blink of an eye to the point it would restock, I would send links out to friends, they would order only to get an email saying their orders were canceled. It seems everyone is struggling to purchase this staple piece and it’s not available anywhere! I’ve rounded up a few others below so grab em while they’re inexpensive and in stock! Trust me, everyone needs a staple black leather jacket for their Fall wardrobe. You can match it with a dress to add a little bit of edge to an outfit, or just layer it on top of an already all black outfit for an edgy-chic look.
As promised, I’ve compiled a list of a few similar moto jackets as well as some of my other favorites from BlankNYC. Let me tell you right now, I wore my moto jacket’s every single day last Fall/Winter and highly recommend you stock up on a great black faux or real leather jacket. Not only do they go with anything and everything, they are comfortable! To shop, just click on the item in the scroller below and it will take you directly to the product.
Let’s talk sizing on these jackets. Whenever I post one of these moto jackets I always get a slew of questions regarding sizing so I want to clarify a few of the sizing issues with the BlankNYC moto jackets. If you are in colder climates and love layering sweaters underneath your jackets I would highly suggest sizing up. I normally wear a size XS but it doesn’t get cold enough in Austin to layer sweaters underneath so I normally am wearing a tank top or light weight long sleeve shirt underneath. If I were going to be wearing sweaters I would go up to a size small or medium just to get me enough room to actually move my arms. I hate being constricted! My suggestion would to be order 2 sizes and just return the size that doesn’t work. With how quickly these sell out, whether they are on sale or full price, they go fast.
You can also find the white cut out top and these adorable Dolce Vita heels on sale as well at Nordstrom (the shoes are under $100 until MONDAY). And of course this Pietro NYC star bag is TO DIE for! I am a sucker for this star pattern you guys or anything star related for that matter. It is so cute, well made, smells like amazing leather (yes, I’m weird) and it adds a fun pop to this monochromatic outfit of mine.
