We’re finally halfway through the week!! Who’s ready for a night out on the town? Me, Me, Me! I’m beyond excited for this weekend because 1. Grayson doesn’t have anything going on (he’s been out of town every weekend since our wedding) and 2. We get to have a fun celebratory dinner with some of our closest friends and 3. Lots of snuggle time with Steven Jalapeño. SO looking forward to dressing up and getting out of the house for a fun night out. BUT what do I wear??? I always refuse to go out downtown so finding something I will actually feel amazing in is going to be a challenge!
I came across the cutest jumpsuit online and knew I had to give it a shot. If you’re read any of my other posts or my Behind the Screen talking about rompers, I swore them off FOREVER!! This long torso makes it nearly impossible to wear anything in the form of a onesie. No one wants that dreaded camel toe… Am I right?? Ok, so you all know how skeptical I was purchasing this jumpsuit but I literally don’t own 1 so I had to give it a shot because if it actually fit, I will wear this ALL Fall long! And obviously, since I’m doing a blog post on this jumpsuit, we all know it FIT!!! HOORAY!!
Now, speaking of Fall… Who else besides me is so ready for cooler weather, chunky sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes, cozying up on the couch. OMG, I can’t wait!!! It’s still 100 degrees here, so I can’t really get in the Fall mood quite yet. I’m slowly transitioning into more winter wear though because I just love the cold weather so much!
This jumpsuit is the BEST transitional piece going into the cooler weather. I felt it would be ideal for a summer date night because it is, thankfully, sleeveless and the fabric is beyond breathable but in the winter months, I can throw on a leather jacket or scarf and be ready to go! I’m always a sucker for great details and if I am wearing something that is all black I need to have my accessories pop. With my black hair, a black outfit and black details, I would just totally be lost in a black abyss. But you know, there’s nothing wrong with that since that’s pretty much all I wear when it’s cold outside!
Since this jumpsuit is jet black, I made sure it had some extravagant detailing! One thing that drew me to this beauty was the amazing neckline and the fact that it looks like a top and pants! Oh, and did I mention it has pockets?! There’s a pic at the very bottom of the neck detailing and it is so beautiful. Since this one-piece was black I wanted my handbag to really pop, so I opted for a gorgeous Kelly Wynne stunner from her new Nightlife collection!
