Happy Monday, friends!! I’m sure most of y’all are totally sick of hearing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so I figured I would give all of y’all a short break today and post about one of my new summer favorites! Say hello to the cutest, little black summer dress from Ella Moss. You know I can’t get enough LBDs!!

By now, I’m sure you all know I practically live in all black clothing and occasionally a shade of grey if I want to spice things up! So when I found this black, tasseled beauty I just had to snatch it up! I know last time I had posted about Ella Moss y’all were raving about how amazing their products are and I definitely wanted to fit a post in for everyone!

I’m sure you’re all curious to know why I love this dress so much, so sit back, relax and let me tell you all about it!! First, the fabric… to die for! Soft, lightweight and perfect for this Texas heat! It was actually breathable!! The sides of dress are adorned with tassel ties on the side, but I figured I’d style this LBD a little differently and tie them in the front and the back for a little extra detail. And how about those tassels lining the bottom hem?! SWOON!!!

Sizing is pretty accurate, but I would almost suggest sizing down one. I am normally a small and pretty busty, but I was able to comfortably wear an XS. And don’t even get me started on the back of this dress!! It’s a gorgeous crisscross style and the straps are totally adjustable for a more customized fit!

I found that this dress is probably more versatile than most of the clothes in my closet. It’s not just your everyday little black midi dress. With the added details you can easily dress this up or down. I chose to throw on a pair of heels and a fun cross body handbag that I actually wore out for dinner with Grayson, but you can easily wear this dress with a pair of flat gladiators or sandals for a casual summer strolling the park or out lunching with your girlfriends! It’s the perfect throw-on and go dress!
