For someone who lives in Texas where it never truly gets THAT cold, I sure own a TON of coats! I’ll be that crazy person when its 85 degrees (like yesterday) I’ll be bundled up like the snow-pacolypse is coming! True story. It’s so embarrassing because I have an ungodly amount of winter clothing that I rarely even get to wear and when summer rolls around I’m like, where the hell are all of my warm weather clothes?! The struggle is real!
When I first saw this coat on the Chicwish website I was instantly hooked. I first made sure I didn’t have a coat already just like this one, and I didn’t, so it was a go! Chicwish is one of my favorite retailers to get my winter-wear from. Not only is it extremely affordable the quality is amazing! You would NEVER believe how heavy duty this coat is!! Equipped with pockets, a drawstrings for sizing, this coat was everything I had been looking for. I think my favorite part was the fact that it is more like a heavy duty cardigan!
And check out how cozy it looks in the photos! I can’t even begin to tell you how soft and fuzzy it is yet still so chic and classic. I paired this coat with my everyday-wear, jeans and a blouse. Since it is warmer in Texas, I need something I can easily layer with and not feel to weighed down. This was the perfect weight and the perfect length for me. I am about 5’8″ and this coat hit right above the knee. I know a lot of people have commented on previous Instagram posts about coats that would be too long for them because they are on the shorter side. Ladies, let me tell you; a great fitting coat is going to look good on anyone no matter their shape, size or height.

First of all ashley I really do think we might be soul sisters looooool. I mean every post you make is almost alwyas the same way i feel. What you mentioned in your first paragraph is exactly what i go through lol. Too many winter clothes and i barely have an outfit for the summer… I really need to stock up my closet before summer hits this year, knowing how hurt it gets in Texas.
