{The 6 Best Hair Dryers for Hair Extensions}

Does anyone else reading this post have hair extensions? Y’all know the hair drying struggle is real! Anyway, I got my first set of hair extensions about 3-4 months ago in an attempt to make my hair fuller and thicker. Once they were successfully installed, dried and styled I never paid much attention to them the first few days until my first wash. Silly ole’ me thought that this would be like any other day I washed and dried my hair but I was wrong!! A normal dry time for me was literally 5 minutes… with extensions and my crappy dryer is was TWO HOURS! The texture of hair extensions is so different than the texture of my natural hair so I was immediately on the hunt for something that would dry my hair extremely fast. No one has time to spend hours on their hair, at least I know I don’t! After getting extensions my entire hair washing and drying routine changed. I would wash at night, sleep on it wet and then blow dry the rest in the morning which made things pretty efficient but it wasn’t ideal. I finally rounded up the best of the best hair dryers that dry hair extensions quickly.

1. Dyson // 2. Bio Ionic Gold // 3. CHI Rocket

4. Solano // 5. T3 Featherweight // 6. Revlon

Benefits of Each Dryer

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer – Three words; high velocity airflow. My hair stylist recommended this dryer when I got my extensions and said it cuts drying time by 75%. I know most people don’t like the thought of spending so much on a hair dryer but it is well worth the price. This Dyson offers so much more than just fast drying; Prevents extreme heat damage, Ultra-fast drying, Magnetic attachments, smoothing nozzle, styling concentrator, diffuser, cool to touch, lightweight and balanced. This will definitely be my next beauty purchase!

Bio Ionic GoldPro Speed Dryer – infused with 24K Gold ceramic mineral complex,  insures constant, even heat distribution throughout each tool, while the ceramic mineral complex infuses moisture deep into the hair giving it a healthy, superior shine. Yes, please! This dryer reduces drying time by up to 50%!

CHI Rocket Hair Dryer – Everything CHI creates is absolutely amazing! I’ve personally never tried this hair dryer but my hair stylist raved about it. Just like the Bio Ionic, this dryer cuts drying time by 50% as well. The CHI is priced a little lower at $96.

Solano Super Lite Ionic Tourmaline Hair Dryer – With a professional ceramic heater you will have quick dry time with a strong and even distribution of heat.  The ionic generator will improve moisture in hair and minimize static electricity.  The tourmaline will add shine, smooth hair, and reduce fly always. This dryer is specifically sold at Ulta, so if you are looking for it make sure you head there to shop or look online first.

T3 Featherweight 2 Hair Dryer – I have been using T3 products for years and have to give this dryer so much credit for my healthy hair! The Featherweight 2 is proven to be healthier than air drying and to dry your hair fast – helping it retain natural moisture for healthy, soft and shiny results.

Revlon Salon 1875W 360 Dual Fast Dry Hair Dryer and Styler – The name says it all! This Revlon dryer provides 70 percent more hair drying coverage than standard hair dryers. It  is also boosted with ceramic and ionic technology which means less damage for your luscious locks. The 360 vertical drying mode has powerful dual air jets that surround each section of hair to dry larger sections of hair at a time.
