Another day, another striped outfit. But who doesn’t love an amazing striped dress that is actually affordable? I know we are all anxiously awaiting the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, BUT it’s literally all pre-fall… And last time I checked, it’s still 100 degrees here, so I’m all about shopping for summer clothes still!
This gorgeous BB Dakota dress is less than $100, flattering on practically everyone AND they just restocked all sizes. I have been living in this dress for the summer and even packed it on my trip to Portland when I was there a few weeks ago for work. It was such a great staple for me when being on set because it is so comfy, casual, affordable and still looks classy if I have to meet with anyone on the production teams.
It’s great because you can easily dress this striped number up with heels and a nice leather jacket or blazer if you are going to work or out with friends. I had packed a beige, cropped leather jacket that I was going to throw over since the Portland weather was still a little chilly, but opted out since it’s blazing hot here! I should probably soak in all of the cooler weather while I can!
Since I wore this dress on the casual side I paired a great Gigi New York tote with it so I could haul all of my work back and forth easily. Let me tell you, this tote is extra roomy, beyond well made and extremely cute! If you’re in the market for a new tote, I would suggest checking this one out. They come in all sorts of colors and are neutral enough that you can dress this bag up or down. And you can even get them monogrammed!!

You always have the best dresses. I love all these “casual” ones you wear because they look so chic but still comfy & great for hot weather.
So easy, but so chic!
